While I was reading Glamour magazine today on my break, I came across an article that was about "30 Ways to Live a Stress-Free Summer". And the last thing was, "Do a complete 360 and find 5 things that you find beautiful".
Sadly, the only thing I found beautiful in our shitty break room was my mini-bag of Orville Redenbacher popcorn in the microwave.
*Sigh* Time to find a new job.

So tonight, I went to 6th Street and got really hammered. Then went to a strip club to see some boobies. And my night ended at IHOP where my hangover began, and didn't get home until 4 in the morning.
On a Wednesday night. And I have to go into work in about... 3 and a half hours. Rock.
At least I had a hell of a night, though!
Us FOBs at Co-Op.

Nashville was a blasty-blast. I got to see old faces, and old places, and words can't describe how much I could have stayed longer. I'll let these pictures do the talking.
God, we're such nerds.
We went to visit Terence's old school, MBA. I used to love going to the football games to meet boys|Our old house - pretty huh? Man, we've had some good times here.
Yummy family dinner at Stoney River. The steak was delicious.
The girls at Rumba for 1/2 off bottles of wine|Us at PM for some after-wine beers.
Some old Chinese school friends - we go waaaay back. Practically grew up together.
Game nights might give you herpes|Me and my favorite Mollsey
*Sigh* I always get so homesick after I go back to Nashville. YOU ALL NEED TO COME VISIT ME.

My new favorite bar to go to nowadays is Rain because:
1. The girls there are BUSTED. I'm not saying it to be mean, but you know... just sayin'. So I actually feel like hot shit when I go there.
2. When gay guys give you a compliment - they actually mean it. "Girrrrl, you look FABULOUS," has never meant more.
3. HOT GAY MEN. Mmm.
And a few pics from last night:
The former going-out crew - Me, Vivian, Phuong, and Joy! Uhm, hello Summer '05.
My bests.|Mmm. Hot.
Zeta love - together again!|4-way kisses like old times.
Hope y'all had as good of a night as I did! :)
[On a side note, I flew into Austin from Nashville at 10pm, and I was downtown by midnight. How much of an alcoholic am I?]

I got a new phone!
Only mine's red so it's about 10 times hotter.
I get unlimited text messaging now... so text the hell out of me. I'll be bored at work and need something to do anyway.

Dear Susan,
Don't ever question "if it's a good idea for me to take PTO during a week of roll-out". First of all, it's none of your goddamn business where I go, and what I do, and when I do it. Second, nowhere does it state in company policy that someone cannot take time off when there's a roll-out. Third, NEVER question my work ethic. I've been with J.Crew for over 2 years, and this will be the 2nd roll-out I've missed since the new store opened. You HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED WORKING IN OUR STORE YET, and you're gonna call ME out for leaving? Ooooh no. If you want to start off on a good note as our new store director, you best not be pissing people off (like you have) even before your first shift starts. They will eat you alive. So uh... good luck this week.
Oh, and I'm going home because it's been 10 years since my dad passed away (on Father's Day, no less), and my brother and I are going back for his memorial. Thanks.
Tammy

Phuong and I finished a FULL POWER HOUR last night at my beloved Crown & Anchor.
Our 60th shot!
We brought our own shot glasses and everything, because we're classy like that.
I haven't done a full power hour since Freshman year when we used to play a lot over at Stephanie's [whom, by the way, we miss immensely - especially your beeping watch!] I don't know what I was thinking trying to attempt power hour, let alone finish it, because I was already getting crunk after the 12th shot of beer. By the 60th one, I don't think I was able to make a complete sentence. I then proceeded to stumble home and have phone sex with my boyfriend. Haha. Just kidding. But not really.
Anyway, it was fun. I woke up with no clothes on this morning - which is always a sign of a good night. I should do this more often.

When you drink too much on a Saturday night on 4th, you might do a little of this:
Three-way kisses are fun.
Or this:
So sober...
But at least I was with my favorites (minus YOU, Julie!)
I love my Zetas.
And no matter how drunk I am, I will never be as bad of a parallel parker as Gabe:
It's impressive, really.

We're currently running a promotion on all our our polos where you can buy 2 for 40 dollars. They are full price if you only buy one, but the thing is, the cheapest polo we have in the store is $39.50. Which means that for 50 cents more, you can get a 2nd polo.
Today, a lady brought this polo up to the register to purchase, and when I told her about our promo, she looked at me like I wasn't speaking English and said, "No thanks, I'll just take this one".
Uhm... So this woman was actually buying ONE polo for $42.50, instead of getting two for $40. Lady, we'd be paying YOU to get another shirt and you're gonna look at me like I'm crazy?
Are people really this rich?
On a side note, I updated to the new Blogger, which meant I had to redo the template. I tried to keep things the same so... you know... it doesn't freak out my like, 2 readers.

We had 5 people make purchases of $500 and more in a row within two hours of our store opening. One of those women bought over $800 worth of clothes... without even trying them on.
I would love to be able to walk into a store, pick out a bunch clothes, not try any of it on, and just buy it all without even blinking an eye. One day...
