Fuckin' A.
I don't have a working televison nor a computer.
What the hell am I to do with myself now?!
[Edit]
My TV died a couple weeks ago because it's just old. As for my laptop - I'm not sure what the hell happened to it, but I can assure you that it's definitely not working. Until I get it back, I'm just gonna have to harass my roommate constantly to use her computer.
But Phuong - you LOVE it when I'm in your room, right? And you especially love it when I sleep with you, don't even lie.

I had a badass Halloween weekend.
But it won't do me any good by telling you about it without any pictures.
So until I gather them all, you will just have to wait.

On October 17th at 11:48 pm, I officially became an aunt.
I was there with my brother and sister-in-law for the entire birthing process, and I helped them deliver the baby. All I can say is that it was the most fucking amazing thing I have ever witnessed in my whole life. Seeing Suzy create life made me realize just how strong and incredible a woman really is. The whole experience was just... unreal.
That being said, I am NEVER having children. Ever.
Anyway, welcome to the world, Madeline.
You know, she is only 6 pounds and 4 ounces, and only 14 inches long. I've eaten Subway sandwiches that were that big!
Jesus. It's only been 2 days and already I'm making baby-eating jokes. I am going to be the best aunt in the history of the universe.
I'll leave you all with pictures of MY baby.

Tonight, on October 13th, five college students sat down and enjoyed The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Completely sober.
And it was fuckin' righteous.

I had a damn good day at work today.
I found out the sale I made last week gave me $86.47 extra in commission.
And I also won our credit card contest (meaning, I got the most cards in the month of September) so I get a $100 Visa gift card plus a cashmere sweater.
All for just doin' my job. Woohoo!
In other news, Hurricane Tammy came and went. Damon e-mailed me with this last night:
By RON WORD, Associated Press Writer
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Tropical Storm Tammy formed just off Florida's east coast Wednesday and could bring tornadoes, heavy rains and coastal erosion to northern Florida and parts of Georgia and the Carolinas. Tammy, with winds of 40 mph, was centered about 40 miles north-northeast of Cape Canaveral and 130 miles southeast of Jacksonville at 11 a.m. and was moving to the north at 14 mph. It is expected to parallel the coast and gradually slow its forward motion.
"Tammy is a minimal tropical storm," said Steve Letro, meteorologist in charge of the *National Weather Service* [Link] in Jacksonville. "The forecast movement will keep the worst of the weather offshore."
Robbie Berg, a meteorologist at the *National Hurricane Center* [Link] in Miami, said because Tammy will spend so little time over water, it is unlikely that it will reach hurricane strength of 74 mph.
A tropical storm warning has been issued from Cocoa Beach north to Santee River, S.C., meaning tropical storm conditions are expected in those areas within the next 24 hours.
The path "is going to be very similar to Ophelia," Letro said, referring to the storm in early September that hugged the coast for days before coming ashore in North Carolina as a hurricane. "Hopefully this will be a 24-hour thing."
Berg said it is hard to forecast where Tammy will make landfall because it is moving parallel to the coast "and one slight variation in its track could bring it onshore."
Rainfall is expected to be 3 to 5 inches in most areas with some isolated spots getting from 8 to 10 inches. High tides are expected to be 2 to 3 feet above normal. Tornadoes are also possible.
Tammy is the 19th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, which began June 1 and ends Nov. 30.
This season is tied for second-busiest on record since record-keeping started in 1851. The record for tropical storms and hurricanes in one year is 21, set in 1933.
Boo. Hurricane Tammy is all sorts of LAME. We'll try again in 6 years.

Drunken times with Phuong, Tammy, Kelli, Richard, and Daniel at 305.
[As always, mouse-over for comments.]

All I can really say is... "You had to be there".
I couldn't fall asleep last night after all the craziness. So I went into Phuong's room, and we ended up talking until 10am. Then, I had to get ready to go to my hair appointment. I dragged Phuong with me to the salon, where we stayed for 3 hours while the stylist highlighted/colored my hair (I'm semi-blonde now!). Then, I got fucked because I was needed for my on-call this afternoon at J. Crew, so I hauled ass to get home, change, put on make-up, and speed on over to work. I worked until 7:30, and afterwards, Phuong, Kelli, Richard and I went to our beloved Buffet Palace for dinner. It's almost midnight now, which would make it 36 straight hours that I've been awake.
I believe it's time to sleep. For ever.

Hurricane Rita
Needless to say, I'm scared out of my fucking mind.
This is the first time since I've been in Austin that I am truly relieved to have family who's far, far away.
To anyone who has to suffer through this ordeal - you are in my heart.
[Edit]
So the storm came and went. It wasn't as bad as they made it out to be, which is definitely a good thing. I'm just waiting for Hurricane Tammy to arrive.
I'm hoping that it's gonna be a big one. I mean, not big enough to kill people, but I'd just want to destroy some buildings and shit. And have people write in their Xangas "Man, FUCK TAMMY!" And I want to hear on the news, "Yeah, Tammy destroyed my home and took everything!"
Sure would give "Tamzilla" a whole new meaning, wouldn't it?

I just wanted to make a note on how the past 16 hours were the most ridiculous 16 hours ever spent in my entire life.
Excuse me while I go die now.
