Memorial Weekend Recap:
Friday - I unfortunately had to work in the morning, but we were on our way to HOTlanta by around 5pm. We got there around 10, checked into the Hotel (which was bad ass, by the way), and went to eat at Steak & Shake (or is it Shake & Steak? I always get them mixed up). Then we chilled in the hotel room and played RockBand. Our room got bombarded by a sea of red t-shirt wearing ASR girls.
Enjoying some delicious corn on the road trip.
Slappin' da bass, mon.
Saturday - We had plans to go to the Six Flags water park, but the weather did not look permitting whatsoever. We decided to brave it and hit up Six Flags over Georgia anyway. As soon as we walked into the gates, it started POURING. We decided to wait it out, and good thing we did, because a mere 20 minutes later, the clouds parted and it was beautiful. The rides were awesome (much better than the ones at Kentucky Kingdom). Had Korean BBQ for dinner, and chilled in the room for the remainder of the night.
With Porky and Petunia. Notice Jason's subtle hand placement.
These are some of my favorite things...
Sunday - Originally, we had plans to go to the Georgia Aquarium, but you have to buy your tickets 9 days in advance. We went to the World of Coca Cola museum instead and had fun taste testing all the different Coke products from around the world. It was fun, although, I remember it as being much cooler back in the day. We went to Bahama Breeze for dinner.

Taste testing.
Monday - Jason and I had my beloved Chipotle for lunch (we don't have those in Nashville), while the girls went to the huge Asian market for more Korean food. We all met up for DELICIOUS shaved ice at Suno afterwards. Then we were on our way home. We stopped by Chattanooga to see the aquarium (hey, had to get our fish fix in there somehow) and ate at Friday's. Made it home in one piece.
OMG SO GOOD.
I got in so much trouble for taking this picture. Hah.
Tuesday - Slept in, went to the pool, then went to dinner with Momzilla at Wild Ginger. I've been there so many times, but the plate of sushi we had that night was definitely the best I've ever had. Yum yum.
Delicious.
Wednesday - Took the girls on the General Jackson Showboat for their mid-day cruise and buffet. It started raining really hard, but then went away as quickly as it came. The food was okay, but it was still fun nonetheless. We went to Opry Mills to shop for a bit, and then went to Opryland Hotel for a photo op before I had to take them to the airport.
Waterfall in Opryland.
All in all, it was a great weekend. Couldn't have asked for more. :)
