Happy fucking birthday, bitch!

I love you.

Please don't kill me in my sleep after what we did to you tonight.

Fun with Google's Image Search - You should do it too.

I applied for a job at Dreamer's with Julie tonight. I hope I get it. And so I'll be able to witness all the perverts in Austin. [Dreamer's is a sex shop, in case you were wondering. And oh yes, how ironic would it be if I ended up working there?]

Julie (reading the application): Hrm... Positions. Should I just put "Any"?
Tammy: No, put down "69".

She and I are going to continue our job hunt tomorrow. Know of any place that's hiring?

[Edit]
S e h n E 13: i think you were inside dreamers for too long
its tamzilla: probably
its tamzilla: this was the third time i went
S e h n E 13: any new toys in stock?

S e h n E 13: and stick it in my mouth

I guess this works out great since we do go to the 7th top party school in the US. [Link via Danny]

So anyway, we're getting settled in. Drop by sometime and we can uh, add to our bottle collection, if you know what I'm sayin'. *Nudge nudge*

I'm in Austin.

14 hours = lots of bonding time in the car with the Mom.

I've been here for less than 48 hours and I think I'm more settled in than Vivian (who's been here all summer). Hah.

My bed is so comfortable. It eats me when I sleep.

Thank God for two big strong manly-men to help me put together my desk.

My closet looks like it's about to burst. I'm surprised I was actually able to fit all my stuff in there.

How I managed to lose my newly-bought razor somewhere between HEB and my car, I'm really not sure.

So who else is in town? I have 9 days to dick around before school starts. Let's go play!

As I'm going through my closet, I decided to try on some of my old prom/formal dresses to see which ones I can take to Austin.

So how does this make sense - I can't fit into my senior year prom dress anymore (damn you, Freshman 15), but I can fit into a dress I got for a fashion show (don't ask) in 7th grade.

Oh, wait. I know what it is.

I was a fucking fat seventh grader.

Happy Friday the 13th. Please don't trip and die.

Blacky's gonna get a new window! It can go "putter putter" with Whitey... with her windows down!

It's early. I don't recall the last time I was up this early.

Who needs spinners on you car, when you can have spinners on your feet?

I'm leaving tomorrow morning. I still haven't packed yet.

I'm coming back to Nashville for Labor Day weekend to help move in to our new house. Anyone else gonna be in town?

I love rubber cement.

Oops, I did it again.

Yeah. I spent lots of money today on music. Bad Tammy.

But hey, it's for the sake of not getting my ass owned by the RIAA supporting the artists!

The odd array of CD's I purchased:

Dixie Chicks - Home
The Darkness - Permission to Land
Sublime - Greatest Hits
Ben Folds Five - Whatever and Ever Amen
Incubus - Make Yourself
Bob Marley & The Wailers - Legend

I then proceeded to alphabetize all my CD's only to realize what a horrible idea that was. Hrm. Oh well.
[Reminder to self: a 96-pocket CD holder case holder is not made to hold 153. Invest in a new one. Please.]

Good news (not that you care): I went to Carmax today to find out how much it would cost to fix my poor driver-side window (the window motor died at the beginning of this year, and you have no idea how pathetic it is to have to open my door to order something at fast-food restaurants). So anyway, the man kindly informed me that it would cost anywhere from 3 to 4 hundred dollars to replace the motor. But! Because I have this incredible thing called MaxCare, the motor will only cost 25 bucks. I have to drop my car off at 7:45 tomorrow morning and he said it should be fixed by the afternoon. Now I just need to find someone that will go with me and take me home after I drop off my car so I don't have to wait there all day. Any takers? C'mon. I'll even buy you breakfast.

I can't believe I'm leaving for Austin in just 2 days. Am I excited?

Yes to settling into my new apartment.
No to making the 14-hour drive there.

Yes to seeing friends again.
No to leaving the friends here whom no one can replace.

Yes to having stuff to do every single night.
No to school.

It's bittersweet. And I need to pack.

It's been awhile. (When I say awhile, I really mean 3 days. But hey! 3 days without internet in my world feels like months.)

Reasons for my absence these past few days.

  • Been hanging out with a certain someone. I got the closure I needed and the world can turn again.
  • Watched Collateral - it was pretty good. Both Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx did a really great job with their characters.
  • Watching a boy play Mario just isn't the same as watching a girl attempt to play Mario.
  • Mr. Moviefone is my main man. He can be your friend too if you just call 333-FILM.

    [Edit]
    Steve thinks otherwise:
    S t e v e n Home: Mr. moviephone gives me a headache
    S t e v e n Home: hes too happy with his job

  • I saw Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (or as David would like to call it - "Smokey and Pothead Go Eat Some Burgers") again. It was just as funny as the first time even though I think my IQ has dropped about to about 40.
  • Went to the farm with Emma, Lindsey, and Lindsey's friend. Ahh, fun times. Especially when Emma almost caught herself on fire, made lots of messy s'mores and wiped our hands on our pants, fell asleep while watching Triplets of Belleville and Pirates of the Caribbean, ate lots of hotdogs and hamburgers, played Power Hour, had way too much fun with grapes, and gobbled at wild turkeys.

Emma is so pretty.I love Schmoopie. Our lovely beer/pink lemonade/Red Bull tower.

I got back home around 1 this afternoon and it's good to sleep in my bed again. Now it's back to loads of bumming around.

My friend, Ruth, is leaving for ministry school in Chicago at the end of August. As a going away present, my church's youth group is making her a calendar to remember us by. Each one of us gets to design a month. (I got March because both mine and Ruth's birthday fall in it... and because it's only the coolest month of the 12.)

Anyway, I decided to go around Nashville and take a different picture for each day of places/people/things that would remind Ruth of us and of this lovely town.

    Here is the semi-finished result:

How many of these do you recognize?

    Rain, rain, go away.
Come again another day (when I'm not wearing a brand new red skirt that has un-fixed dye and flip flops that keep getting stuck in puddles).

I went shopping with Molly this afternoon. And shopping with Molly is always a great GOD-AWFUL idea. Once again, I managed to spend money I don't have, and buy things I don't need. But hey, at least I'm fashionable! (Haha. I so lose.)

Say hello to my new Chuck Taylors. I got these because I wanted to re-live my childhood (like playing Oregon Trail and Number Munchers again) and cause I wanted to be like Will Smith from I, Robot. This picture definitely doesn't do these shoes any justice. Who woulda thought that lime green and hot pink would make such a great combination. Damn you Molly for buying these before I do.Me and Big Steve got bored at work the other day....Really bored?Yes, that's right. Talk to the hand.Rachel likes to play checkers by herself. Mainly because no one else want to play with her and she has no friends.Meet Lane. She's happy.

    And um.

    OH. MY. GOD.

Let's just say tonight is one night that I would like to eradicate from my memory for my sanity's sake.

    Wow. Just... wow.

    That is all. Goodnight, friends.

    Sunday, August 1, 2004

I watched Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle last night with Big Steve. [Yes. I shelled out 8 dollars to see this piece of shit. But hey, this movie stars two Asian-American actors, and it's only my moral responsiblity to see it, right?]

All I can say about it is that it's so god-awfully bad that it's good. I laughed a lot. But then again, I tend to laugh a lot at brainless things.

Like I said to a friend last night, I'd recommend this movie as long as you go into it thinking you're about to watch the most ridiculously stupid movie in the history of the universe.

I do, however, have a new-found respect for Wilson Phillips.

Holllddd on for one more day. Things will go your waaaayy.... Hold on for one more day.

    Cough.

So anyway, I'm no longer a triangle-head. Yay!

And I'll leave you with some other Asiantastic things:

    Molly sent me this tonight:

    I love prolonging bad stereotypes.

And 3 Ninjas Kick Back is on TBS as we speak and Tum Tum is my hero.

    Goodnight.
