Why hello there. Remember me? So it's been exactly one month... plus a day... plus another hour... since I've talked to myself. But since the last post, guess where I am! I'm home! Home = Nashville that is. I know I've probably made you sick from hearing about how much I wanted to go home. But I am finally finally back. Stupid island has kept me there for two miserable months. What the heck was it thinking? Well, it wasn't that bad. And I think that I would have enjoyed it a whole lot better if I weren't missing people so much. So anyway. It's 1:05 in the morning now. I really should be in bed now cause I have to wake up early tomorrow morning. Jetlag sucks. Well, I don't think this is jetlag... I just can't sleep. Arr.
I had no idea how much I really appreciated American food till I got back. Actually, when Esther sent me 4 airheads in her letter, is when I started to miss American food. But tonight, when I went out to eat with boy and his parents, I had a big yum hamburger. Good. Fatening. Fried. Oily. American food. Not that Chinese food isn't good, fatening, fried, and oily as well... but having that for 2 straight months gets a little old. Even the American food there was like... Chineseizied. (You should check out their pizzas. That have all sorts of funky toppings. Shrimp? Oysters? Octopus? Nonono. Seafood + cheese + tomato sauce = Crappy Pizza. Bad idea.) Kinda like how the Chinese buffets here aren't really Chinese food. (They have fries and fried chicken!) Mmm food. I think the main thing I miss about Taiwan is the bubble tea. Dude! You can get a giant cup of that stuff for about 50 cents! They're $3.50 here! And taste like crap. Ooh the chewy tapioca goodness.
My beloved MP3s. Oh how I have missed you. All I listened to in Taiwan was a ton of Dave and some Chinese music. Which is actually really good. But not as good as these. And my bed. Ooh. My bed. My pillows. My giant dog. After sleeping on an asshard bed for two months, my bed is pure heaven.
Anyway. Now that I am back. Maybe I will write more. Maybe. But for now, I have to put away the stackload of clothes on my bed and go to sleep. Oh! But check out your Sushi Fortune. Yummy Yummy Sushi. (You know, like, Hungry Hungry Hippos. Only. Not. Shut up.) I wouldn't do that if you don't anything about raw fish though...
