Been busy and stressed out over the last couple of weeks with all of this moving/buying a house business... hence the lack of posts.

I promise things will return to normal soon!

Jason and I got news that we are pre-approved for a mortgage to purchase a house today! We are very excited, and not to mention, extremely relieved because just a mere couple months ago, we didn't think we would, or be able to afford it. I immediately called my mom to tell her the good news, this is the conversation that ensued:

Me: Mom! Guess what?!
Mom: What?
Me: Jason and I got pre-approved for a house!
Mom: Oh really? 多少? (How much?)
Me: We're getting approved for $200!
Mom: ... 為什麼這麼少? (Why such a small amount?)
Me: ... What do you mean so small?? The townhouse we were looking at is only $130!!
Mom: ... Oooohhh... You mean $200 THOUSAND!

My mom thought we were going to take out a loan for 200 dollars. Sigh.

8 years ago, I was sitting in my 2nd period Government class when another teacher came bursting through our doors telling us that a plane hit the twin towers. My teacher, Ms. Brille, scrambled towards the television and she turned it on just in time for us to see the second plane crash, and the towers crumble. It was all very surreal and hard to believe that I was witnessing history in the making. I can't believe that it's already been 8 years. My heart goes out to the friends and families who lost someone they loved that day, and to the countless brave souls who gave their lives for this country.

Always remember; Never forget. 9/11/01.

I have a girl-crush on Taylor Swift. I *really* didn't want to like her from the beginning, thinking she was just another typical country-pop crossover artist. But I've actually had the pleasure of meeting her on a couple occasions at the store, and she is genuinely as just nice as she seems... and not to mention, absolutely GORGEOUS. She was always very polite and appreciative, and when the dozens of screaming 12 year olds came busting through the doors, she was more than happy to give them signatures and take pictures with all of them. I hope she never gets that "diva" behavior, and falls under the pressures of Hollywood a la Lindsay Lohan.

But seriously, how could you not fall in love with a video like this?

No, thank you. So glad I'm not sitting in that traffic!

Jason and I are going to see our potential future townhome later this afternoon. Wish us luck!

Today marks my 1 year anniversary since Jason and I have been together.

It feels like it's been more than a year (probably because I've known him since I was 16? Who knows...), but it's definitely been an amazing one.

Last year, around this time, Jason and I had been hanging out a lot - we went to see a couple movies together, I invited him to game night with all of my friends, and we spent a whole day at Six Flags. Needless to say, we were totally into each other, but we were both too chicken shit to do anything about it. I wasn't going to make the first move, and he didn't think I like him, etc, etc. Stupid. Anyway, so last year, on September 3rd, Jason invited me over to his apartment to watch movies and before I left, we had this hug where he was like, cradling my head. And when I looked up at him, there was this *moment* where we should have kissed, but we didn't. It was totally awkward. This was the AIM conversation we had the following day:

7:44:57 PM Jason <3: ok so I'm going to type this out and then go play star wars because I'm just embarassed

7:46:12 PM Jason <3: ok so I don't want this to affect whether or not you come and watch movies tomorrow, and I feel like a complete nerd and tool for saying this on AIM and not in person, but I think I need to say/ask this now so I can nip it in the bud if I have to. last night I wanted to kiss you, and I'm sorry if thats weird and it was probably just a stupid impulse because it was so late and it will 100% go away if needed.

7:47:11 PM Tammy Cheng: why didn't you

8:27:37 PM Jason <3: I wasnt sure you would have let me

8:28:37 PM Tammy Cheng: hah why wouldnt i have let you

8:30:25 PM Jason <3: uh I dont know, there could be a million different reasons >.<

8:32:07 PM Tammy Cheng: well for the record, i would have

8:32:08 PM Jason <3: like guys arent soft like girls!

8:33:20 PM Tammy Cheng: haha well you are

8:33:49 PM Jason <3: im not sure how to take that O_o how would you know?

8:34:11 PM Tammy Cheng: lucky guess

8:37:35 PM Jason <3: well, I still have mr brooks if you want to come over and watch it ;-)

Haha. We kissed that night, if you couldn't have guessed already. And the rest is history!

I love you Jason Anderson. With all my heart and all my soul. Now and forever.

I got to go to my very first NFL game today! Brian, Jason's brother, was able to score some extra tickets to the Titans vs. Packers game from his work, and he took us with him. Little did I know that these "extra tickets" included a VIP suite, all-you-can-eat food and drinks, a hell of a view, and parking right next to the stadium. It was definitely the best way to experience a football game, and I could not have asked for a better first time! Oh, and not to mention, we dominated Green Bay (and I don't care that it's still pre-season!) ;)

Overview of the stadium.

Cheerleaders!

What. The. Fuck.
