Today, I met the daughter of the Berenstain legend.

I rang up a girl who was buying clothes for her move back to the Northeast. She just finished grad school at UT in journalism, and will be working for her parents' publishing company. She then proceeded to tell us that her parents used to write children's books. When asked which ones, she told us "The Berenstain Bears".

Rock.

Oh. My. God. I used to LOVE the Berenstain Bears [Side note: I had no idea it was spelled that way - I always thought it was "The Bearstein Bears". Hmm.]!!! I used to always circle shit off the Scholastic catalog and make my mom buy them for me. A lot of those books being the Berenstain Bears - I had maybe 20 or 30 of them. One of my favorite ones was "The Bearstain Bears and too much junk food" where Papa, Brother, and Sister bears all eat too much sweets and fat foods, and they had to go see a Doctor - Hey! Sounds like someone I know...

Anyway, my friends in elementary school and I would always trade off our books because we all liked them so much It was like drugs, only much, much cleaner.

So... who cares about meeting celebrities, when you can meet someone who contributed to my childhood?

Since my life revolves around work nowadays, I find it only appropriate that I blog about the super interesting days in the life of a retail associate.

Hey, it's better than nothing, right? I've given up on trying to be funny months ago, but I kinda miss writing on here. So. Here it is. Sorry to disappoint.

Our latest windows. They take a long time to do, but the end result is always rewarding. I like the fish the most.
