You know, it's kind of sad that I have to set my alarm clock to 12:30pm in order to be able to wake up early enough for church. *Sigh*

The Friday Five, biatch! (Only a few minutes late too!)

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year? Passing calculus.

2. What was your biggest disappointment? Britney and Justin's breakup. Yeah... we're on a first-name basis now.

3. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? Probably. But I'll also break them within 2 weeks afterwards.

4. Where will you be at midnight? Do you wish you could be somewhere else? Um. I think I will be with Boy. And no, there's really no where else I'd rather be ^_~

5. Aside from (possibly) staying up late, do you have any other New Year's traditions? Getting hammered and engage in a mass orgy. Oh wait, what? That wasn't me? Nevermind then.

I started painting again. It's hard because I had forgotten a lot of the techniques to use, and little helpful hints that my teacher would tell me. Oh, and I've never really painted with acrylics before either. I keep wanting to do the same stuff that I did with oils, which is fine except for that whole acrylics-dry-100-times-faster-than-oils thing. I'm just hoping that what I'm doing right now will turn out half-way decent. *Crosses fingers*

I hung out with Carly tonight (hi Carly!) and we didn't really do anything except talk and play Uno and call each other "dorkwads" the entire evening. We're mature, I promise. Tomorrow, I'm going to meet up with some old Chinese school friends. Not old as in last year. But old as in like, 5 years ago. Everyone's back from college so... I guess it'll be fun to see them all again. Plus, I just *love* being the only high school kid with people who have almost graduated from college. Yay! I get to be the youngest one! *Sigh*

I guess I better go to bed since I have to wake up bright and early tomorrow. And by "bright and early" I mean 10:30. (What? I've been used to waking up at 1 in the afternoon. 10:30 is so friken early.) G'night!

Howdy everyone. I'm at Boy's house right now and I'm waiting for him to get off the phone so we can watch Lilo and Stitch. So how's everybody's Christmas coming along? Have you been eating lots and getting fat? Mmm... fat.

In case you ever doubted my coolness, I spent a good deal of my Christmas morning afternoon doing college applications and calculus. Word up.

Anyway, I think I'm going to bug boy now because I like to be annoying and bugarific. =) Have a great night y'all.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Alright. Have a good one, people. Try not to eat all the presents ^_~

Just so everyone knows... David is the best boyfriend. Ever =)

Sunday, December 22, 2002

Yay it's back! And late, too!

1. What holiday or holidays do you celebrate this time of year? Christmas! Though, I *did* spend the last day of Hanukah with a friend of mine. We ate latkes and it was yummy.

2. What was the best gift you have ever received? Hmm... that's a toughie. Most of the stuff I get are usually great, such as tickets to see Rent from Boy, my Big Thing, strawberry house slippers from Ruth, a pretty bracelet from Carly, a gorgeous white scarf that Esther made, two wonderful pillowcases (also from Esther - I love you so much), Nunzilla from Molly... etc. Oh and did I mention that I'm getting a car from my mom as well? Awwww yeeeah.

3. What was the worst gift you've ever given? I don't really remember any truly shitty gifts that I've received. Oh yeah, I got this math computer programsoftwarething one year from someone. My mom made me do it for a month until the CD "broke". Now, I'm an extremely easy person to please, but I probably will not appreciate something that requires me DOING MATH OVER MY BREAK.

4. Where will you be celebrating the holidays? Are you hosting? Going away? I'm staying at home this year. Yay Nashville (or as Boy so eagerly puts it - Cashville)!

5. If you could spend the holidays with someone who isn't around, who would it be with? Why? Sivan. (I mees you!)

Hrm. Winter break is going pretty well so far. Esther and I went to see the Two Towers on Wednesday (which was really good, by the way - and Legolas is really hot and he has pretty hair) then she and her sister spent the night. I spent most of yesterday with boy and that was fun, as usual. And today I slept in until 1 in the afternoon, and then did nothing except watch some tv and make some Christmas cards. Oh, and put away laundry that had been in the dryer for over a week.

Hrm. I should also vacuum my room too seeing how my floor is littered with small fragments of yarn/tissue paper/wrapping paper/popcorn... and God knows what else.

I also need to get my mom something else for Christmas. See, I already have a gift for her, and I thought it was really cool when I bought it. It's this head massager that supposedly pinpoints nerves in your head which makes headaches and all that go away. But don't let that fool you. It's a lot more stupid than it sounds. Now, I'm looking at it and wondering why the hell I wasted 20 bucks on this piece of shit that probably won't work. I'm broke now too. God, I'm a horrible daughter.

Okay, I think I'm going to get ready to sleep in once again now. Goodnight =)

Gene sent me this one: Two Korean boys dancing to an awesome song.

Don't understand it, but it made me laugh anyway. =)

Tuesday, December 17, 2002

I am such a dork. I was just watching the Aaliyah video for "Miss You" and I started crying. What?! It's a really sweet video, okay?

Click to take the quiz!

You are Zhang Ziyi.
You're free and wild. You like to have fun, whether it's flying in the air, picking fights, pretending to be a guy or kicking ass. You like to do it all. You also have an evil side which some ppl dislike. The only thing you've been really wanting to do is to shut chris tucker's annoying ass up! As he would say it, "you are one crazy bitch!"

Hell yeah, I am.

[I took this quiz twice, the first time I got Michelle Yeoh. I went back and changed one answer and got Zhang Ziyi. And I had to go with her because she's so friken hot.]

Fun with search engines:

Someone searched for women+peeing+and+pooping+outside on Google, and smiley+faces+singing+dont+worry+be+happy on yahoo and ended up here. I just thought it was a funny combination =)

Sorry that my site is such a let down, but you can always try looking at the wal-mart commercials for the singing smiley faces.

Friend: Um, why are you sniffing your arm?
Me: I'm trying to see if the place where I burned myself last week smells like anything
Friend: ... So?
Me: Smells like barbequed Tammy. Just needs a little hot sauce though.
Friend: You are sucha freak.

I'm currently working on my 9th hat using the prettiest and softest yarn, ever. I'm tempted to keep this one for myself even though I say that about every single hat I make. For those of you who doubt my hat-making skillz, here's one that I made for my little cousin in Taiwan: Green!

Saturday, December 14, 2002

I am putting on earrings with large (large as in the width, not the number) gauges. It hurts. =( Kiss and make it better.

Happy Friday the 13th.

Shitty things that happened today:
*Crap weather - rained on all my presents
*The on/off button to my computer monitor broke
*My English teacher assigning two huge projects to be due next semester
*My calculus teacher giving us homework over break that we get to e-mail to him
*The splitting headache I've had all day

But... I did get warm sock slippers, Nunzilla, earrings, Poo-pooing snowman, and lipgloss pencils from my friends today. These things totally make up for the crappiness =) Thank you, friends.

After a long, stressful, and shitty day, killing Teletubbies can be incredibly soothing. Ahh, at last... euphoria.

Molly wants to bring back the ever-so-popular-word: Sike. Use it as often as possible.

Yay it's almost Christmas! That means I have to scarmble to make 5 more hats and a scarf. Why I agree to do stuff like this, I really don't know. Anyway, I going shopping again on Thursday night. Anyone want to join me?

Lion King comes out in IMAX theaters on Christmas day. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. It's been my favorite movie ever since it came out and now its gonna be on a big screen. HUGE!!! I feel like a little schoogirl again... oh wait... ^_~

Alrighty, I'm going to go do some studying now... SIKE! I'm going to bed. G'night.

Monday, December 9, 2002

You know you're tired when the numbers on your calendar start to move around and you get really confused by the 3's and the 8's.

Ali: Do you have a hair tie so I can put it up?
Me: Umm... I thought you were going to wash your hair.
Ali:... Oh yeah.

Saturday, December 7, 2002

Me: *Sigh* Dave Matthews is good, but he sold out.
Carly: Sold out of what?

The people who live below us have their bass on really loud and I can hear it and almost feel it. I need to get me a killer bass system too so I be the obnoxious neighbor. Yay!

I like the part in Madonna's new song where she goes "Sigmund Freud, analyze this... analyze this". (Ahh! Too much psychoanalytical critism!)

You know what I love?

I love waking up at 3 in the morning after only sleeping for two hours to finish a European history paper about the French Revolution. I love not being able to go to bed since 3 in the morning because for some reason, the paper took ungodly amounts of time to do. I love finding out 15 minutes before I was supposed to leave for school that school was gonna be open one hour late. I love having nothing to do for an hour because I had already taken a shower, gotten dressed, and had my daily cup of OJ so I couldn't fall asleep anymore. I love when I forget my gloves at home so I thought my fingers were going to fall off by the time I walked into the building. I love going through school and have people come up to me and say, "Gee... you look really tired, Tammy, and by 'tired' I mean 'shitty'." I love getting my hair trimmed and having the woman do a half-assed job, put lots of pomade on my head, and not blowdry my hair completely so I can walk out with a wet and greasy bed of hair.

I love today.

Ari... You better hit me up with some really good Jewish food tonight or I think I will unleash all hell. =)

I'm sitting here in the junior/senior office wondering what I'm still doing here. It is all ice outside. Isn't that a hazard to bus-drivers or something? As we keep tuning into News Channel 5 ever so often, we notice that schools around us are closing left and right. All the counties around Davidson are out... Ahh... the good ole donut effect strikes again. You know who else got out? MBA. MB friken A. They haven't had a snow day since... when? Never? How is it that they are out and we aren't? Something just ain't right. *Sigh*

I had a great Thanksgiving... ate lots of great food. My brother got me a nice digital camera for an early Christmas present. I knew he was good for something =) Don't worry, I'll post some of my pictures up. They are funny.

Quick rundown of how things were and are gonna be:

- Saw Boy this weekend. ^_^
- I put up new Christmas lights all over my room ~ it's really bright in here now.
- I gave blood today and passed out for a few seconds. My finger is bruised from when they pricked it.
- I have two projects and two papers due this week, a test tomorrow and an essay Friday.
- My mom is gonna be out of town again this weekend... Party at Tammy's! All... 3 of you!
- I hope it freezes over tonight so I don't have to go to school tomorrow.
- I have a lot of Christmas shopping to do for all you punks who decided to become friends with me.

Speaking of Christmas, I'm gonna make an updated list of all that I want to make it easier for you to figure out what to get me ^_~

- A car. One that works, perferrably.
- Geroge Foreman grill
- A waffle maker - the Hello Kitty one they have at Farmer's Market would be nice, but I won't be picky.
- Socks - wool or anything that is not white.
- A kitty. A real one, too.
- Jelly Beans
- Monster's Inc. DVD
- Tickets to see Lion King at the IMAX theater. I will go and watch it a million times if I have to. =)
- Shiney/gilttery/shimmery things.
- Girly jewelery
- Homemade cookies/brownies/cheesecake/keylime pie
- A bellybutton ring
- A guarantee into college
- Shoes. I can never have enough shoes.
- Yummy smelling lipgloss
- A full-body massage
- Light blue, T-shirt material pillow cases. (Two)

Yaaay! I'm greedy girl! But you love me, don't you? ^_~

"Are you giving blood today?"
"No. I already donated enough blood when I had my kid."

Thursday, November 28, 2002

Happy Thanksgiving. Eat lots of turkey. I love you all. ^_^

Tuesday, November 26, 2002

I'm in Austin right now. My brother lives in a city called Pflugerville (pronounced Flu-ger-ville). It's been a pretty fun day. Out of 6 of my classes, 4 of them had substitute teachers, so we did basically nothing all day. The flight here was pretty rough though. I sat right next to the engine so it was loud as hell and I couldn't sleep too well. Once we got here, we went to this awesome Chinese food restaurant. Mmm... Yum. Then, I got bubble tea. Awwwww yeeeeah. It was passion fruit green tea with bubbles in it. Mmmm... I've been wanting one of those ever since I got back from Taiwan.

My brother's house is cute. I like it a lot. He has a huge flat screen TV, and we played some shooting games. I realize that I have the worst aim, ever. It's amazing just how bad I am. Terence has cute animals too. His two cats are a bit on the obese side, and his dog is really hyper active. But cute, nonetheless.

I go visit the UT Austin campus tomorrow. I shall update you all on how that goes. Until then, have a great night =)

Monday, November 25, 2002

I am leaving early from school tomorrow to go to Austin, Texas to visit my bro. What? Yeah, I have a brother. No, really, I do. I'm not just making him up.

Anyway. It should be fun. I plan on eating lots of good Chinese food. Nashville Chinese food just isn't all that great... C'mon you guys, back me up here. I'm also excited to see my brother's pets. Sad, isn't it? I love his animals... Him? Not so much ^_~

I hope you all have a super Thanksgiving holiday. Eat lots of yummy food, be lazy, get fat. But! Don't forget to be grateful for all that you've got and that you are actually able to eat lots of yummy food, be lazy, and get fat.

Oh, and if you see her, tell her, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CARLA!!!

Sunday, November 24, 2002

It's been a thorougly fun weekend. I went to see a Randy Newman concert on Friday and My Big Fat Greek Wedding last night. Both were really really good, and I like. Today at church, the youth/college group had to do a skit from the Bible that relates to being thankful. We laughed a lot because we looked really dumb. All the fun came to a halt when I had to work on a Jane Eyre project, again. I hated this book. And now I hate it even more because of all of the bullshit critism and handouts we have to do. This feminism crap sucks. I mean, yay women, but quit complaining. (Please don't shoot me.)

Oh, and I got my license too. About damned time, huh? I realized that people are happier that I got it now than they probably would have been if I got my license when I was 16. "YES! I don't have to drive your ass everywhere now." Next step: get a car.

Alright. I'm finishing up and then going to bed listening to these horsies sing. Toodles.

LOST

What: 2 light blue queen sized pillow cases; t-shirt material; may be full of candy
Last seen: October 31, 2002 - Halloween night - Carried around by two females, ages 18

If you find my two adorable pillow cases, or even one, please contact me. I need them or else I will not be able to sleep well at night.

Thank you.

Tomorrow is senior 80's day. I'm actually going to dress up... not because I have any school spirit, but because I can wear obnoxious clothing for a legitimately good reason. My friend and I said that we should have a spirit day once a week, every week. You know, so I can dress ridiculously and still be okay. Anyway. I'm gonna go to bed now so I can wake up early tomorrow to put on my awesome, awesome outfit and look so damn hot.

But before I do, I will leave you with some sick humor that I'm sure you all with enjoy. It's from Esther, so don't blame me if you are completely disgusted.

Today has been a sad day. A member of our church and a very close friend of our family died this morning. It wasn't really something unexpected because her health has been failing ever since the doctors discovered a malignant brain tumor less than a year ago. My mom saw her yesterday and told me that she's slipping in and out of consciousness, and it won't be long until she will pass away. She asked me last night if I would like to go visit her today but I told her I couldn't. I couldn't go and look at death in the face, it was too hard. It's weird thinking about it. We knew that she did not have very much time left but it was hard fo rme to believe that this was the same woman who just last year was on the stage hosting a Christmas show, dancing and laughing and singing. A woman who was so full of life and loved every moment of it.

I've questioned my faith numerous of times before, and this is no doubt another time where I'm questioning it again. How can a "merciful" God take a woman who was so devoted to her family, and to church, and to just... life? How can He take a caring mother away from her two children at a time when they need her most? Why her? What is His justification in doing something like this? How does He determine who gets to live and who gets to die? I mean, why not me? Or some asshole who doesn't deserve to live?

I know that there is a reason for everything that happens, but it's hard to see what that reason is until a few, or many years down the road. It's hard to see how things fit into that whole "big picture" but it's hard to deal with the present without any answers. It was hard watching her come to church every Sunday weaker than the week before until she did not have the strength to come anymore. Yet, what touched me most was her faith in God and whatever He had in store for her. She remained so dedicated at a time where I probably would have given up all hope if I was in her place.

I'm not sure how I feel right now. Sad, angry, frustrated, confused? I don't know. I do know that she was an amazing person whom we all loved and will all miss immensely.

"For what is it to die,
But to stand in the sun and melt into the wind?
And when the Earth has claimed our limbs,
Then we shall truly dance."

Off of my friend's away message:

Calculus and alcohol don't mix. Don't drink and derive.

Sunday, November 17, 2002

*Sigh* It's going to be another long night.

I have to make a study guide for a huge Euro History test we have on Tuesday. Then I gotta work on a college essay for the UNC application because I am trying to get all my stuff turned in by Tuesday. I promise that I didn't procrastinate on that application. I didn't think that I was gonna be able to turn everything in for early action because my counselor and teacher were not finished with my recommendations, but UNC extended their early action deadline. And I didn't know that until two days ago. So hopefully I can get everything done by... well, tonight. This is not good.

For those of you who are dying to know where else I'm applying, here goes:

UC Los Angeles
UC Santa Barbara
Furman
UT Knoxville
University of Georgia
Wake Forest
Brown
NYU
George Washington U.
Rhodes
Washington U. in St. Louis
UT Austin
Boston University

Yeah yeah, I know that's a lot. A whole lot. And trust me, I wish I could narrow it down to just 5 or 6, and maybe I will once I visit some of them. But until then, my mom's gonna have to pay loads of money for application fees. I have my reasons for choosing so many as of now though, mind you.

God. What am I thinking applying to all of these places? My friend tonight was all, "Haha wouldn't it be funny if you didn't get into any of those places except for UT Knoxville?" That is quite possible my biggest nightmare at the moment. Not that UTK is a bad place... or anything, just... I don't want to go there. It's my backup college. Sad part is, that nightmare has a high chance of coming true.

*Sigh* This is going to be a long night.

I am wearing my kitty ears right now and looking all sexy and kittylicious. Only... not. Meow? Love me?

Helpful tips from my boyfriend:

David: Learn to type, dokr.

Oh, I love you. =)

Friday, November 15, 2002

Today has been a total bullshit day. And those are the best. I loved it when my calculus teacher flipped out because some of us were talking while he was teaching, and then gave us a butt load of homework. Ahh...

Oh, and here's the answer to why cats like to eat earwax... Mmm... Ear... Wax...

This little game here is a lot of fun even though I have no idea what the hell you are supposed to do. Kills time efficiently =)

One last thing: HI LAUREN!!! I LOVE YOU!
I have 4 readers now. Yay!

I'm in my English teacher's room right now debating on whether or not I should risk running to my locker to get my calculus book without a note to do so. Huh. I'm reading a poster with a poem on it on her door. I'm kinda liking it.

Open it.
Go ahead, it won't bite.
Well... maybe a little.
More a nip, like. A tingle.
It's pleasurable, really.
You see, it keeps on opening.
You may fall in.
Sure, it's hard to get started;
remember learning to use
knife and fork? Dig in:
you'll never reach bottom.
It's not like it's the end of the world -
just the world as you think
you know it.

Speaking of poems, I remember one that I read in 9th grade when I was doing a poetry project. I forgot who it was by...

Premature Ejaculation

This poem is already finished.

Hah.

There was a group of Japanese people who came to visit our school yesterday. I told my friend to go up to them and bow and say "konitchiwa". But she said no and told me to do it. But I was afraid that they might start talking Japanese to me and I would be all, "Wasabi?" And they would be disappointed and hate Nashville. Anyway... I'm gonna try to find something better to do to kill time...

I hurt. Bad. Physically, I have not felt this shitty in a very long time. Someone shoot me in the face to put me out of my misery.

Tammy's favorite love song of the moment: Bruce Springsteen - Secret Garden.

She'll let you in her house
If you come knockin' late at night
She'll let you in her mind
If the words you say are right
If you pay the price
She'll let you deep inside
But there's a secret garden she hides

She'll let you in her car
To go drivin' 'round
She'll let you into the parts of herself
That'll bring you down
She'll let you in her heart
If you got a hammer and a vise
But into her secret garden, don't think twice

You've gone a million miles
How far'd you get
To that place where you can't remember
And you can't forget

She'll lead you down a path
There'll be tenderness in the air
She'll let you come just far enough
So you know she's really there
She'll look at you and smile
And her eyes will say
She's got a secret garden
Where everything you want
Where everything you need
Will always stay
A million miles away

*Sigh*...

Uh oh. Tammy's getting back into Disney songs again. The Aladdin soundtrack is *so* good. =)

I didn't do anything today after I got home from school. Well, I took a nap. Then I woke up to make some food ~ fried rice, cookies, and iced tea. I also watched Cruel Intentions and Joe and the Volcano. I plan on doing more of nothing for the rest of the night because I'm so damn good at it.

I'm really getting into some Scott Joplin stuff... you know, the guy who wrote The Entertainer. I like piano music... Try "Cascades". My friend learned how to play that song in a week during the summer just from listening to the MP3. I will be eternally impressed.

I'm been in a good mood all day ~ not sure why. I guess those are the best kind of days, huh? We nominated for senior superlatives today at school. A couple of my friends told me that they nominated me for Most Academic. I wanted to barf. If they only knew just how much work I really put into school related stuff. =) Personally, I was going for Most School Spirit cause you know... Yay, go team?

Vrroooom vrrooom I'm a racecar. Racecar is racecar backwards. ^_^ I'm gonna go mope around some more now. Byebye.

I finished my second hat today. I like it. And it fits my fat head too! That's an achievement in itself.

Um... not much has happened today except my hands still smell like play-doh. We were making stuff in Bible study earlier. Wow... Warm orange juice tastes unbelieveably bad.

Call me crazy, but I really really like Jennifer Lopez's new song, Jenny from the Block.

So the Love Calculator calculated that love between me and Boy is 79%. Yes! We rock! I think. We're gonna have to work on that missing 21% though, don't we? ^_~ Speaking of calculators, my mom calls them "Calculus Computers". I think that's a much better word for it.

Alrighty folks, I think I'm gonna go to bed soon because I'm already tired. I don't know what has happened to me. Freshman through junior year I was so used to staying up until 2 or 3 in the morning. Freshman year I would talk on the phone with people for ungodly amounts of hours, sophomore year I had nothing better to do, and junior year I had a lot of school work. This year, I'm just sleepy all the time. Well, unless I've had 5 Dr. Peppers and lots of candy. I really need to build up my stamina again. Anyway~ no school tomorrow! Ahh... the joys of going to a public school. =) Nighty night.

Yes! Friday Five on time! *Claps*

1. Did you vote in your last elections? No.

2. Do you know who your elected representatives are? Yes. Damn Republicans... ^_~

3. Have you ever contacted an elected representative? If so, what was it about? No.

4. Have you ever participated in a demonstration? No.

5. Have you ever volunteered in an election? What was the result? No.

Mmm. Short and sweet.

Rocky Horror was great... funny stuff. We saw a girl who graduated from our school last year in it so that was pretty neat. We were tempted to get all decked out and go as WHORES, but we decided against it. Which was a good thing because we would probably be the only ones who dressed up aside from the actors. We went to a party afterwards but it sucked. Lots of um... private school people, if you catch my drift. Here's a quick breakdown of what it was like:

Them: "TAMMY!! HEY!! Ohmygod I haven't seen you in *such* a long time!! How have you been?!"
Me: "Hey (Why are you talking to me you never talked to me before when I was at the same school as you)! I've been really good (now that I left that hellhole of a school)!"
Them: Cool...
Me: Yeah...
Them: ...
Me: ... Yeah, so I'm about to go. See you soon (by soon I mean hopefully never again)!

Alright. I'm going to bed, kids. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. G'night.

Thursday, November 7, 2002

I realized today that I've had this blog for over a year and a half. That's quite a while... in that amount of time I could have had two babies already! ^_^

My life has been pretty dull lately, so I do not have much to say. That will probably all change tomorrow night. I am going to watch the Rocky Horror Show at TPAC with a friend. Hopefully, we will see lots of freaks and transvestites. Hopefully, they will not eat us alive.

I was thinking of dressing up as a transvestite myself but my friend told me that I wouldn't need a costume to go as a transvestite. I told her to stop being such a ho-bag.

I really need to clean my room because it's disgusting. I know it's about time to clean it out when I forget what color my carpet is. The Mom is actually being pretty cool about it~ She doesn't get on my case about keeping it clean all the time like she used to. She's actually been pretty cool about everything recently... I used to have to whine and bribe her to let me go out on the weekends but now she doesn't really care anymore. Well, not as much anyway. Good Mommy. *Pat pat*

All I have to eat for dinner are a cookie and Halloween candy. And not even the good Halloween candy, because I already ate all the good stuff. I'm left with that crappy crap that people still like to give out every year such as Whatjamacallits, Mounds, Bit-O-Honeys, Almond Joys, and those mysterious chewy candies wrapped in black or orange paper with no writing. Why do they even bother with those now? We throw them away once we get home anyway. *Sigh* People never learn.

Alright, I think it's time for me to start on homework. I have yet another Calculus test to fail tomorrow. Farewell my little minions.

"Watashiwa ho... HO!!!"

Wednesday, November 6, 2002

I'm talking to Carly on the phone right now and she burped. I gave her a 8.9.

Way to go, Grossy. =)

Good news: I found my college folder...

Well, you didn't hear the bad news, did you? Yeah. I couldn't find my college folder anywhere yesterday. Now, you may not think that much can fit into a small little half-inch binder... but oh ho, you are greatly mistaken. All of my college applications, recommendations, resumes, scholarship information, calendar of deadlines, essays, everything was in there. Hours of time and dedication was put into organizing and get stuff filled out and written for that folder. So basically, if I did not find that folder, I was fucked. While I am usually a messy and clumsy person, I do not lose precious things such as my college binder. I take it out, and put it right back into my backpack when I am done. So you would understand my alarm and frenzy when I was unable to find it.

I told myself that if I couldn't find it, I would just not go to college.

Thankfully, I found it in the office I work at 5th period. Someone had put it high up on a shelf, but I found it anyway after coming close to having a mental breakdown. Everything was still in there like I had left it. I don't know why anyone would want to steal anything from it, but you wouldn't believe what some people at our school would steal... So yay! I'm going to college!

That is... if I get in.

I finished making my hat earlier today. I used this blue/green yarn that's pretty soft and warm. It's really cute. I even made a little fluff ball and put it on top... everything turned out just perfect..

Now, I'm going to try to make one that will actually fit my big fat meat head instead of the head of a 6 month old baby.

Quick and brief update:

*It's been too damn cold here. Winter is arriving. I hate it with a passion.
*I went to see my school's production of Midsummer Night's Dream tonight. It was really good.

*I fail miserably at Calculus.
*I am absolutely exhauted right now, but I still have some homework left to do.
*My room is a disgusting mess.

*I get my pictures back tomorrow from Halloween.
*Christmas break needs to be here already.

I created a band and named it Foo Foo. They are so friken cool. Here's how it goes: Adam~ 2nd circle, FunkyPaul~ 3rd circle, Amy~ 4th circle, Emily ~4th circle, and Kristi~ 5th circle. You can substitue Emily for Marc on the 3rd circle. I'm going to start my own band now... I'm gonna be a masta on the triangle =)

So uh, make your own band.

I will leave you all with some words of wisdom: "Ew! What is this on my camera lens? Not on the lens lens, but on the lens part lens."

Saturday, November 2, 2002

Once again, the Saturday Five:

1. Were you raised in a particular religious faith? Yes ~ Christianity.

2. Do you still practice that faith? Why or why not? I do. But I have certain issues with it now. And I kind of believe in... my own religion, if that makes any sense. There's a lot of things that my church preaches and the Bible says that I don't agree with. I believe that there is a God, and I believe that there is a God's will. But I think faith should be based on my own personal relationship with Him, and not on all of that denominational bullshit.

3. What do you think happens after death? I'm really not sure. I'd like to believe that there's a Heaven. But you can't have a Heaven without a Hell... but sometimes it's hard for me to believe that God would condemn so many people to Hell... so I don't know. I guess we'll find out.

4. What is your favorite religious ritual (participating in or just observing)? Does Christmas count? ^_~

5. Do you believe people are basically good? For the most part. But sometimes I think everyone sucks.

Psycogyrrl: my friends are such prunes
SooshiMooshi: are they wrinkley?
Psycogyrrl: they stink
Psycogyrrl: and theyre purple too
SooshiMooshi: yeah...
SooshiMooshi: and they make you poop?
Psycogyrrl: ya poop in my pants cause when i get mad i strain myself...
Psycogyrrl: like uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh
Psycogyrrl: ya theres the poop
SooshiMooshi: whenever you are constipated, just hang out with your friends?
Psycogyrrl: SHEA!
SooshiMooshi: you dont need ex-lax. thats what friends are for
Psycogyrrl: for good times, for pooping times, ill be on your side forever more

Problem solved. =)

So I figured out what Heaven would look like today. I got my Flojos shoe catalogue in the mail. A bazillion different types of shoes jammed into 12 beautifully colored pages... Yum. =)

504 Boys featuring Mercedes - "I Can Tell" is a wonderfully funny song.

Do not ask why I was listening 504 Boyz in the first place. Don't question anything. ^_^

Yay. Did everyone have a great Halloween? Or did you forget that it was even Halloween until 11:30 like someone I know... *ahem*

I went trick-or-treating last night with about 7 other girls. I dressed up as a dead prom queen. I took lipstick and smeared it down my face but then it looked as though I had a serious make-out session, so I took some black eyeshadow and smeared it around my eyes. I also took some fake blood and put it on my wrists. Then we all went to a nice subdivision to pushed rich kids down and run off with their candy.

At around 7:30 we left to go to my friend's farm out in the middle of nowhere and got there around 9. It was pitch black and of course, we got stupid ideas stuck in our heads and freaked each other out. At midnight we all hiked up to a conferderate soldier cemetary. It wasn't as scary as it could have been if only 3 people went, but there were about 11 of us, so it wasn't that bad, despite the occasional moments of "Shh... Did you hear that?" It was kinda creepy because as we were hiking up the little mountain, it was really windy and you could hear some birds. But when we were at the graveyard, everything was perfectly silent and still. The wind wasn't blowing or anything.

Lizzy: Umm.... someone check to see if there's anything behind us...
Me: *Slowly turn my head to glance back" We're good. We're good.
Heather: How do you know? You can't see anything!
All: *Whine*

After about 20 minutes, we quickly left the cemetary and headed back to the cabin where we told each other scary and funny stories, and goofed off until about 3:30 in the morning. We all pretty much passed out by 4, but we were all up by 8 in the morning, so none of us got very much sleep.

I got home at about 2:30ish and fell asleep until 7:30. I was supposed to go watch a play at much school tonight, but I overslept. Oopsie. >_<

I get to take the SATs yet again tomorrow morning. Don't plan on studying this time, not that I did any other time. Standardized tests can suck my butt. Bee-otch!! Oh! Guess what else I get to do tomorrow? Driver's Ed, baby. HAHAHAohmygodI'mpathetic. *Sigh* I hate me.

Wednesday, October 30, 2002

Did anyone else watch Dawson's Creek tonight? So, as bad as the show already is, this "Halloween" episode was quite possibly one of the worst ones I have ever seen. EVER. Why do they even bother trying to make it all scary? It ends up looking like ass, and it ruins the entire show. I wanted to kick Dawson's face more than anything... The most satifying part was when Audrey slapped Pacey on the face. Hard.

So. How was your night?

I have to wear a costume for extra credit in European History tomorrow. And just so everyone knows, I look totally hot in a toga.

Monday, October 28, 2002

Hahaha... Wow... Bizarre Death indeed... I'm just glad that it *was* an urban legend. You should check out some of the other stuff they have there. It's fun to laugh at other people's misfortunes.

Oh, and just for the record. I love titties and beer.

I'm currently in the office at school right now... Office aide stuff... Which pretty much involves me sitting around and running an errand every now and then. Easy stuff... I love listening to the conversations that people have in the halls though. Especially the ones of those really ghetto girls who yell everything they say even though they are walking right next to each other. Those are the best...

Sunday, October 27, 2002

I have the hiccups. And everytime I hiccup I can taste the crunchy shrimp sushi with lots of wasabi I had for dinner. Yum.

I really really don't want to go to school tomorrow. Ugh... But at least I have Friday off... Yay Halloween.

Oh! This is killing me. Who sings this song? It sound so familiar but I can't seem to figure it out. Gah! Help me out here, people.

You know how you'd love to kill those pop-ups that clutter you computer screen everytime you surf the net? Well, now you can with B3ta's Realistic Internet Simulator. Now you can waste your time killing those damn pop-ups while listening to the beautiful music that plays in the background.

Saturday, October 26, 2002

So it's been a while... And by "a while", I mean "3 days". I've been kinda swamped with school stuff this past week. My teachers love to pile everything in right before the six-weeks ends. I took the ACTs this morning, and thoroughly fried my brain. I'm kinda disappointed because the test itself was not difficult, but I lost track of time and wasn't able to finish a couple of the sections. Oh well. It's was my last standardized test so I'm happy. Wait. No. I have to take the SATs again in November. Damnit. Oh and I have to take SAT II. I hate life.

I watched the Royal Tenenbaums tonight, it's good stuff.

The Saturday Five!
1. What is your favorite scary movie? Glitter. (Haha. Just kidding. I would not waste 2 hours of my precious life to watch that atrocious movie. My favorite is The Ring, both versions.)

2. What is your favorite Halloween treat? Chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate

3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume. Yeah, I've dressed up almost every single year since I've been in the states except for last Halloween. I think my best one was when I dressed up as a butterfly in 8th grade. I painted a really pretty butterfly on my face with lots of different colors, and used lots of glitter. I had a flower wreath on my head, and curled my hair. I wore this long flowy yellow dress that was once a bridesmade dress. Oh and I also had butterfly wings. Can't forget about those. It was fun. Perhaps I will do that again this year.

4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events? I like going with a big group of people. The haunted houses here are really lame, so they won't be fun unless you are there with a lot of your friends.

5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year? I have to for European History. We can get extra credit if we dress up like someone from modern Euro History to school for the whole day. That's gonna be great. But... My friend is having a party at her barn that night, so I don't know if I will dress up later or not. I really want to go get candy... You know, cause it'll probably be the last year for me to do so and all. I don't know. We'll see.

I guess that's about it for now. I'm probably heading on over to bed sometime soon. Don't forget, kids, daylight savings tonight. Set your clocks back an hour early. And you know what that means right? Ooooh yeah. One extra hour of sleep. =)

Tuesday, October 22, 2002

Steve sent me this link which says that if a homerun ball of any member of the baseball team in San Francisco hits this big floating target, Taco Bell will offer everyone in the US a free taco.

C'mon you baseball people. I'm gonna be expecting one of them free tacos here sometime soon. You know, cause I want to "think outside the bun".

Just for the record, a lot of these questions I had trouble picking an answer to, and I only chose both for those that I really really could not pick one or the other. Anyway, what do you think?

My mom suprised me by telling me that I was get two immunization shots today after school. How pleasant. Actually, it wasn't bad at all. I don't know how I can still complain about a silly little needle after getting a hole through my stomach. I just stared at the nurse as she injected me with the drugs. Mmm.... drugs. My arm is kinda sore now, but that's because I keep poking at it cause I'm a freak like that... *Poke Poke*

I get to read 156 pages of a really crappy book by tomorrow. Yay! However, my English teacher told us that we might be reading Fight Club next semester instead of one of the other shitty books that we were supposed to read. That would just be grand.

I really like Gorillaz's song, "Sound Check".

As I was coming home, I saw a guy with a dangley bunny that says, "You smell like butt" hanging from his rearview mirror. It made me happy.

Alright~ I'm gonna go start reading my book and hope that I don't pass out in the process. Toodles!

Hrm.... Exactly how I feel. ^_^

Oh and yes, I'm up at 4:40 in the morning. That's only because I fell asleep before I got to finish my homework so it's a good thing that I woke up so I could. Yay me.

Monday, October 21, 2002

I am studying for an Anatomy quiz tomorrow and I realize that I love these terms. They make me happy:

Albumin
Stratified Squamous

Phagocytosis
Erythropoietin
Flaccid
Jejunum
Simple Cuboidal
Gastrula
Rugae
Terotogen
Sphygmomanometer
Globulin
Yolk Sac
Acetabulum
Phalanges
Astigmatism
Flagella

Mmm... Fun with vocab.

I downloaded AOL 8.0 last night and installed it today. I can't decide if I like it or not. There's a lot of new features such as new/different themes, and wallpapers, and sounds but I never use those anyway so they are of no use to me. It's kinda pretty though. Then again, AOL will eat ass no matter how pretty it gets.

I went out to eat Italian food with my mom tonight. I *love* Italian. It's almost up there with Japanese food... not quite. But almost.

Umm... I should clean my closet and my room because it's really messy. I can't even see the floor to my closet but I'm really tired right now and I'm not sure if I want to do anything except for sleep.

I was talking to a friend last night and I know what else I want for Christmas. You see, I was talking about how I liked pancakes. But I also like waffles. And I like to use pancake mix in a waffle maker. And then I wondered if it would make me a traitor to waffles and pancakes that I did that... he told me no. So anyway, I want a waffle maker for Christmas. And a Geroge Foreman grill. And the Monsters Inc. DVD. You got all that? ^_^

It's 9. I better go get started on homework. Yay... oodles of fun.

"We're gonna tear this mug up." ~Math Teacher

Sunday, October 20, 2002

Someone searched for "Vagina Juice" on yahoo.com and ended up here. That is gross, okay? DON'T DO THAT!!

Then again, why did I have those words posted here, anyway?

Saturday, October 19, 2002

I am really bad at getting these posted every single Friday... Oh well, here goes:

1. How many TVs do you have in your home? Just one. We don't have room for any more though I wish I had one in my room. Oh wait, not after watching The Ring. =)

2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week? Mmm... depends on the week I guess. Once I start watching I will keep watching for countless hours, but I don't usually start watching. I guess... at least 4 hours a week. Sometimes 37.

3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children? Yes. Television is the Devil.

4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken? Friends, Will and Grace, and ER.

5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like? I would play bad 80's made-for-TV movies. All the time. That and a lot of Mary Kate and Ashley movies because they are the coolest.

I should take a shower cause I'm feeling mighty gross. But I'm too lazy... maybe I will roll around for a little while more...

Boy came home this weekend for fall break. We went to see The Ring last night... and... Good God it is probably the scariest movie I have ever seen. The Japanese version was good but you don't really know why things are the way they are unless you've seen The Ring 2 and 3. But the American version explain things very well and I liked how things intertwined with one another. It was neat. There were definitely some "excuse me while I wet myself" moments, but was neat nonetheless. So yeah, I really liked it. Granted, I had my eyes closed for 1/3 of the entire movie, but it was still good! =) Yeah! So... you all should go watch it. You might want to curl up in a fetal position and cry if you were a wimp like me though, but you should check it out anyway. It will definitely get you thinking twice about watching TV. ^_^

Tell me how it goes for you if you see it~

Thursday, October 17, 2002

I went to the Incubus concert tonight with 14 of my friends. It was awesome and having all my friends there made everything 10 times better. We goofed around a lot and probably pissed everyone off around us. You know, we were that "annoying crowd". But we had a good time, and Incubus wasn't so bad either =) Actually, we all came to the same conclusion that Brandon Boyd is hot. My throat also hurts now. Hopefully I get to sound like a frog tomorrow. =)

I shall go to finish up some homework now~ Night night.

Today has been productive. That has not happened in a long while. I came today and worked on college applications for about 3 hours, did calculus for about 1 and a half, almost finished an English project, and now I'm finishing up my European History questions. Yay me. However, I'm exhausted, and I wish I could have been in bed 4 hours ago... *Yawn*

I stayed up until 1:30 last night finishing Ender's Game. I think I am in love. It is a truly amazing book and will probably be one of my favorites for a long time to come. You know how with some books after you finish reading them, you think that they are good, but they don't stick in your head afterwards.? Ender's game did. I mean, I stayed up for another 20 or so minutes just thinking about everything that I had just read and trying to make things that seemed ambiguous more clear. It completely nerdified me. Plus, it's a science fiction book =) Of course, I get to follow this book up with Jane Eyre, which is a unnecessarily long and boring book I read Sophomore year. But, you gotta read Ender's Game. And that's a lot coming from me because I never read. ^_~

I better go finish up what I was doing, but I will leave you all with some Buggin' Lovin'. G'night~

Monday, October 14, 2002

Tammy has the worst short term memory. Ever. It's so bad that quite a few times I couldn't even get one right. It's so bad that I tried to cheat by writing as many as I could down so I would just have to remember two, and I still couldn't do it. Yeah. I suck big time.

Sunday, October 13, 2002

I have a question: The Sunkist Fruit Snacks are these little fruit shaped snacks that supposedly taste like the real deal. They have orange colored ones in a shape of an orange which taste like oranges, red colored strawberry shaped ones which taste like strawberries, and so forth. There are ones for cherries, lemons, limes, and for pinapples. Now, what I don't get is, why the pinapple shaped fruit snack that tastes like pinapples are blue. Now I can understand with a fruit such as the watermelon, a fruit snack can be colored either green or red, given that a watermelon is green on the outside, and red on the inside. There's some leeway of fruit snack coloring there. But blue? For a pineapple? I don't get it.

Maybe I should um... try that thing some people like to call "sleep" and stop pondering over the color of fruit snacks, hmm?

I took SATs this morning. And just so everyone knows so they will stop asking me about it: It went okay. I don't know how well I did. I'm just glad it's over. So. It'd be great if you guys would not ask me how it went because I don't really want to think about it anymore. Thanks =)

Aside from that damned test eating half my brain this morning, nothing fun happened tonight. I fell asleep on my living room floor while watching TV, then I woke up, crawled into bed and fell asleep some more. Then I fried the other half of my brain by watching TV for the rest of the night. It was exciting.

My jaw pops everytime I open my mouth. Why?

Oh, and an uselses fun fact about me for every day this past week:
1. If you could only choose 1 cd to ever listen to again, what would it be? Dave Matthews - Crash or Weezer - Pinkerton (that's two, isn't it? Oh well.)

2. If you could only choose 2 movies to watch ever again, what would they be? Lion King (shut up it's my favorite movie of all time) and Office Space.

3. If you could only choose 3 books to read ever again, what would they be? The Joy Luck Club, Guess How Much I Love You, The Count of Monte Cristo.

4. If you could only choose 4 things to eat or drink ever again, what would they be? Sushi, Burger King french fries, animal crackers, and orange juice.

5. If you could only choose 5 people to ever be/talk/associate/whatever with ever again, who would they be? What a sad question. I guess I would have to go with Sivan, Esther, David, Lauren, and YOU, of course ^_~ (Oh c'mon. I wouldn't leave you out now. Plus, I don't want anyone of you to come up to me 10 years from now saying, "WHY DIDN'T YOU LIST ME, YOU COLD, HEARTLESS BITCH??" cause I know you guys will do that and all... *cough*.

Umm... Anyway. Have a great rest of the weekend, folks. Try to stay off the sex.

I really want to see Spirited Away and The Ring and Audition sometime real soon. Would anyone care to join me? Please? I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE!!!! THEY ARE SCARY!!! (Well, except for Spirited Away.) What is it with me and Japanese movies recently? Sheesh.

I have this skirt that makes me look like I have a penis. You see, it's a cute short jean skirt that I got in Taiwan, but the way it folds at the crotch area makes me look I have a serious boner. I've worn it pleanty of times before but I didn't notice it until about 2 weeks ago when I was walking down the stairs at school and I looked down and thought, "Holy crap, I have an erection!" I spent the rest of the day showing it off to people =) I only mention this because I wore that skirt today and had quite a number of my friends yell, "HEY! IT'S THE PENIS SKIRT!!!"

Uh oh. I bet there are going to be some dirty google searches that link to this site now. BRING IT ON, BABY!!!

Here's a long list of completely useless yet amusing facts that you could look at to kill some time. I actually got around to using one of those facts today when I was talking to Heather. She was wearing this sweatshirt that was all torn up and I told her that when she's hungry, she should eat real food. And she goes, "like... my arm?" That's when I told her that, If an octopus is hungry enough, it will eat its own arms, complete with a visual demonstration (of me gnawing on my right arm). It was good fun.

I just adopted this atrocious waste of time and space:

I don't think you're ready for this jelly.

I can't decide whether it looks like the crack baby of flubber, a dancing condom, or your mom. Whatever, you decide.

So I watched Dawson's Creek tonight. Yeah yeah, spare me. I can't believe I'm still watching it either. But! I can explain! Last week, I went to go work on our float for homecoming (which, by the way, kicked ass and we won) and I was thirsty so I went inside the house to get something to drink. There, I discovered a heap of my friends with their eyes adamantly glued on the TV. I realized that they were all watching DC, and so I decided to join in. Now see, I've come to realize that it's not a great show. It contains an overabundance of poor acting by 30 year old people portraying teenagers who use words that can only be found on SATs. But it's addicting. I only say that because I've watched it from the first season, so as much as the show sucks, I still wonder what's happened to each character. Okay yeah. Bad excuse. I'm addicted. Sorry.

Speaking of SATs, I'm taking that this Saturday, bright and early. I'm going over the 3,500 word vocabulary list as we speak. Why on earth did we invent so many friken words? I mean, I'm sure we can all get by with about 500, right? YOU ONLY NEED ONE WORD FOR EACH MEANING, GODDAMNIT! I am still on the A words... *Sigh*

I am listening to Dixie Chicks - I Can Love You Better. It's fun. And very um... Country. Hey, I live in Nashville, okay? It's bound to wear off on me *some* day. ^_~

I'm probably gonna go to bed soon. Early again! Whoa, that's two nights in a row. Impressive. I love it when I have 3 substitute teachers...

Tuesday, October 8, 2002

I was checking peoples' away messages (Hey! I know all of you do that too... ) and 6 people out of 15 who were away said that they were watching Smallville. So now I'm wondering if this show is really that good... Anyway, I am going to bed. *Gasp* It's only 8:30 too! Go Tammy! ^_^

Someone sent this to me tonight: The average blue whale produces over 400 gallons of sperm when it ejaculates, but only 10% of it only makes it to his mate. So 360 gallons are spilled into the ocean everytime one unloads. And you wonder why ocean water is so salty...

Mmm. I love me some whale sperm.

A Ferris Bueller quote on Ari's profile: "I did have a test today. That wasn't bullshit. It's on European socialism. I mean, really, what's the point? I'm not European, I don't plan on being European, so who gives a crap if they're socialist? They could be fascist anarchists - that still wouldn't change the fact that I don't own a car. Not that I condone fascism, or any ism for that matter. Isms in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an ism - he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon: "I don't believe in Beatles - I just believe in me". A good point there. Of course, he was the Walrus. I could be the Walrus - I'd still have to bum rides off of people."

No school today! Woo! I slept all day and afternoon and that was really nice except for the fact that I will not be able to fall back asleep tonight. That's okay though since I have a lot to do. I went to see Sweet Home Alabama last night with Carly and we saw a couple of our friends there who were watching the same movie. It was cute even though Reese Witherspoon cannot pull a Southern accent very well. I can! Haha. A Chinese girl with an Southern accent. =)

I made killer omelettes this morning. Mmm... Yum. I think I want to make some more cause I'm really hungry and all we have at home are saltine crackers. Those don't have very much taste. >_<

My mommy came home yesterday, yay! I missed her, though it was really nice nothing having her on my back every single minute. Plus, I'm really gonna miss not having a curfew. ^_~

Esther got me to like Wang Lee-Hom a whole lot when she spent the night on Saturday. Speaking of Saturday, I babysat. Yeah. Me. Babysitting. A 10 month old child. Is that not a frightening thought? I didn't have too much trouble with her except when I tried to take her out of the shower and when I tried to put her to sleep the first time. I don't see how so much sound can come out of something so small. I was exhausted by 8 o'clock. And that was just one night. Her parents have to do that every single day. I'd rather gouge my eyes out with dull pencils. But! I did manage to not break anything (mainly, the baby), and make 50 bucks in the process. Yay Tammy! Now, what was I saying before I got off track? Oh yeah. Wang Lee-Hom. He's an awesome singer, and he's kinda hot. Good songs to get: Revolution Rotation, Don't Be Afraid, and Frozen Dreams. Yum =) He ranks up there with Jay Chou and David Tao now. Woo Chinese music!

I'm gonna go try to make something to get rid of the hunger in my tummy. Byebye.

Oh goodie, this week's Friday Five is a fun one:

1. What size shoe do you wear? I can wear anything from 6-8. But for the most part it's a size 7 (in Women's, of course).

2. How many pairs of shoes do you own? *Runs to closet to count* 41 total including slippers and my Santa Claus shoes. Granted, I only wear about 5 pairs of those shoes now, and the others just sit there and collect dust.

3. What type of shoe do you prefer (boots, sneakers, pumps, etc.)? Flip flops are my favorite. Then my Birkenstock clogs. I wear them so often that I have trouble walking in high-heels. Remember when I used to wear big old Spice Girls platform shoes with 5 inch heels? Yeah. I'm too clumsy to wear those now.

4. Describe your favorite pair of shoes. Why are they your favorite? My $3.50 Old Navy black flip flops are my favorite because they are the most comfortable and I can walk for a long time in them. The only downsides to wearing those are they have no traction so I slip a lot, and they are a little bit too big so people always step on the heel part, causing me to lose my shoe.

5. What's the most you've spent on one pair of shoes? $60 for my Steve Madden boots. Most of my other shoes are from Payless because I don't have money to buy expensive stuff.

It was a fun night~ Went to the football game then to a friend's house right after. But not before getting hit on by the guy who works at Krystals. I was trying to order some food, and they guy kept asking questions about me and trying to get my number. He was persistant even after I told him that I was still in love with another guy. Finally I said I wasn't interested and to get my damn food because I was hungry. Of course, Heather and Ari just stood on the side and laughed at my agony... But this wasn't nearly as bad as when Heather got hit on by a 40 year old Cowboy at Burger King during lunch. That was classic. HOW COME I DON'T GET ANY COWBOYS??? ^_~
[Update: " HAHAHA, you got hit on by someone at Krystals? I'm not sure which is worse, getting hit on by a guy who works there, or actually going there." -Danny. Hey, their Krystal chiks are good, mmmkay?]

Conversation with three other girls tonight:

"... Yeah and you know what he told me?"
"Penis."
"Ball sac!"
"Scrotum?"
"Vagina juice!"
"COCK!!!"
"What was the question again?"
"External urethral sphincter."

My friends and I are mature. Really.

Oh oh oh! So one of my friends saw the American version of The Ring and he thought it was as good as the Japanese version... I'm gonna take his word on this, and will be *highly* disappointed if I come to find that it sucks. I'm not sure when it's being released in Nashville, and I hope to God that it will cause I really want to see it now. Anyone want to come watch with me and see me get scared shitless?

And before I go work on homework...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIMIA!!!

This will be a post dedicated to Heather.

I didn't get to be friends with her until last year where I had 3 of my classes with her, with two being the Bradshaw block. And since I was pretty good friends with one of her best friends, we ended up doing some projects together, and that lead us to become being friends. Eventually, we started hanging out more, even though most of that "hanging out" was to work on homework. But anyway, Heather is weird. And stupid. And I think she is my soulmate. I love you, Fathead. And... "I wish I didn't smell like dirty asshole." (By the way, she is paying me to say all of this...)

Tuesday, October 1, 2002

I'm at my friend Heather's house right now... It's raining quite heavily outside. But from where I am sitting, it looks beautiful. I like the rain...

Anywho, I can't wait until this week is over, I'm ready to have another great three-day weekend. Homecoming is on Friday, might be going to a haunted house on Saturday, and Kentucky Kingdom on Monday... Now, just gotta squeeze in some time to study for SATs within the next two weeks or else I will do really crappy like last time. *Sigh* Today has been pretty crummy seeing how I failed two tests. I also saw a friend who was beat up yesterday for no good reason. It makes me sad...

I don't know when I'll get a chance to write next because I will probably be busy for the next couple of days, but I will keep you all updated. No worries =) So, until next time, hope you all are having better days than me.

Sunday, September 29, 2002

It's been a fun weekend. My friend Lauren spent the night at my house yesterday. And since neither of us had curfews since our moms were out of town, we vowed to stay out as late as possible. So we met up with a couple of our buddies, drove around, went to a suckass party for the "elite", drove around some more, and ended up going home at midnight because there's nothing to do in Nashville. That's okay though because we were tired. I somehow didn't end up going to bed until 4 in the morning, so I don't really know what happened there. Today, we made pancakes and then went to see a play at TPAC for extra credit. Well, sorta, but we won't go there.

So. I'm gonna be staying at a friend's house this week so feel free to break into our home. I will probably be posting every now and then from her house... Hopefully we won't strangle each other by the time this week is over =) But... I guess we will find out... Woo!

Saturday, September 28, 2002

Today, my mom and I went shopping. She ended up getting me very nice stuff. She spoils me =) Anyway, so mommy is going out of town tomorrow for an entire week. So basically I'm inviting everyone to come break into my apartment and steal everything we have. Enjoy!

I was putting laundry away when we got home and I decided to color-coordinate my closet. And I did... Yes, I am just that big of a dork. But hey, at least my closet is neat!

I used listerine mouthwash tonight after I brushed my teeth and almost cried because that stuff stung so bad. I think I killed my tastebuds. =(

So that was my Friday. Nothing too exciting... I might be spending the night out tomorrow with a good friend though, so all is well. So like um, like, totally have a like, great weekend.

Friday, September 27, 2002

My fly was down for two hours today after lunch. No one cared to tell me. But anyway, Friday Five time!

1. What are your favorite ways to relax and unwind? Cuddle up with my big stuffed dog under my comfy blankets and take a long nap while listening to yummy music. I also like to sit around on my fat ass with a big bag of chips and some OJ and watch mindless hours of TV. Or take a long bubble bath with lots of candles. Or swimming.

2. What do you do the moment you get home from work/school/errands? Get on the computer because I am cool like that. Then I usually mope around until it is 10 at night before I start on my homework.

3. What are your favorite aromatherapeutic smells? I like citrusy smells. You know, cause they are citrusy.

4. Do you feel more relaxed with a group of friends or hanging out by yourself? Depends on what mood I'm in, I guess. I like chillin' with friends for the most part, but sometimes I need some me time, you know?

5. What is something that you feel is relaxing but most people don't? Dancing around to bad 80's music. Or staring at my blue christmas lights.

These kitties make me think twice about the cuteness of kitties. *Shudder* Oh, and this little optical illusion is probably one of the best that I've ever seen. I didn't believe it at first, but if you cover all of the other boxes, you will see that it's true. Nifty, indeed.

Wednesday, September 25, 2002

I ate my rank today. Lettme explain: Our counselor had finally gotten our class ranks sorted out and all that jazz and everyone had been talking about it all day. After the countless, "What's your rank, Tammy?" I finally decided to go look. Every senior's name and rank was on a small strip of paper, and after a good 5 minutes trying to find my name amongst a heap of shredded paper, I come to find out that it's not that great. I mean, I really shouldn't be complaning because it's not that bad, but I just felt like all the hard work that I had done to try to pull up my grades after I fucked up freshman year was all a waste of time and effort. I *really* wanted to be in the top 10, and I know that makes me sound all high-strung and snobby, and I'm sorry, but I did. I worked my butt off last year to pull up those grades, but freshman year at a private school left permanent damages to my GPA. I wanted to just give up, and quit everything. So out of a moment of frustration, I ate the small strip of paper. I ate my rank.

When I got in the car after school, I had a emotional breakdown. I don't know what happened, but I think I've just been frustrated by school, friends, my mom, life lately and just didn't really realize it. I'm just tired of everything. I want to take a break from it all and go to a deserted island and not worry about anything for a while. That would be ideal, but I'm stuck here. I don't know what I want to do and I don't know if there even *is* anything that I would want to do. And of course, there's my mom constantly nagging me about college, and a career, and what I want to do for the rest of my life, and... AHH. I'm 17, immature, whiney, and goddamnit I want live like a teenager until I'm not a teenager anymore. And my mom is making just a wee bit hard for me to be happy right now. That amongst other things...

Random sidenote: NYU has sent me *a lot* of stuff. I get something from them literally just about every other day. So... is that just me, or is it happening to you too?

I've got to study and maybe that will take my mind off of things for a while... Hopefully I will be in better spirits tomorrow.

And if you were dying to know what my rank really was, I barely made it in the top 20. So, like I said, I really shouldn't be complaining, but you know how it goes...

Tuesday, September 24, 2002

It's Tuesday! And you know what that means? The Season primere of Friends, Will and Grace, and ER will be in two days! That's so orgasmically great that I wouldn't even know what to do with myself. Only problem though, CSI will be on at 9 on CBS, which would conflict with my Will and Grace. My mom is obsessed with those police investigation shows, I don't know what it is. I would totally fight my mom for the remote... So... I guess we'll see what happens in two days.

Before I finish my homework, what type of Asian are you, my friend? I must say, that I am quite Fobulous myself. Though I wouldn't say that I am "fluent" in English or Mandarin, but that's really okay. Nor am I a good dancer... So maybe I'm just a Fobabee? I sure do wish that I was a Fobsta though. ^_^

Oh, and SkirtMan creeps me out to no end.

I think I've spoiled you all with incredibly fun absurd links... But that's okay cause you love me, right?

Monday, September 23, 2002

Inappropriate usage of an Anatomy term: "Tammy, you keratinize me."

So yeah, I made the most adorable South Park character last night. They should put it on the show... But anyway, it's lots-o-fun. Make one!

Sunday, September 22, 2002

*Sigh* I miss him...

I watched the original Japanese version of The Ring this past summer in Taiwan. It was quite possibly the scariest movie I have ever seen... And if you had no clue what was going on, it wouldn't be scary, cause there really wasn't any creepy music or graphics, or anything like that. There were not a lot of special effects and blood and gore. But that movie screws with your mind. It fucked me up for a good week because I would be going to bed and start thinking about it, and I would not be able to sleep. It seriously freaked me out. And there are pleanty of other people who would agree with me. There are two other "Rings" that follow the first to describe the events that happened to lead to what happened in the first Ring. And supposedly, the other two are creepier than the first.

So, the American Dreamworks has decided to do their own little version of the movie... Now, I'm thinking that it's probably gonna suck a whole bunch of ass cause it is going to be Hollywoodized. And the Japanese version was so... not. It was simple, and... not a huge big production. But I'm scared that the US is going to mess up the movie and its meaning. So when people who haven't seen the orginial, see it the American version, they are probably going to think, "Oh, it was okay." And then if they see the original, they will think it blows. But it doesn't! It's good. And scary! I just don't see why they don't release the Japanese one here in the states... I'm just hoping that the American version is good.

But! This little animation here ranks pretty high up with the dancing gay Spiderman. I'm definitely liking it even though I am totally jealous of his mad dancing skills.

And for those of you who like Jay Chou, this is adorable.

I am going to bed soon... and it's not even 10 yet! On a Sunday night! Amazing ^_^ So I guess my 3-day weekend comes to a halt now...

Thing I've noticed about me: My hair grows really fast. Now, despite the two inches that were cut off this past summer in Taiwan, it is literally 8 1/2 inches longer since last summer when I cut it to chin length. It has also grow over an inch since I took my senior pictures almost two months ago. Now, if my head would just grow *more* hair, you know, so I don't go bald.

I shot a milipede-lookin' bug off my ceiling tonight before I brushed my teeth with a rubber band on my third try. I was proud of me. Granted, I screamed like a 5 year old when it fell on the floor near my feet but that's beside the point...

Saturday, September 21, 2002

A friend and I went out tonight. We went to a nearby pizza place and there was a guy with a guitar and microphone (and Heather, no turntables) who sang on the porch. He was really good, so friend and I kept shouting out songs from people for him to play: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave, Ben Harper, Tom Petty, John Mayer, U2, Radiohead, etc. She and I vowed to be his groupies but we had to go. We came back to my house and watched Kids, which was a disturbing yet somewhat realistic movie. I liked the way it was done. But. It's definitely not a movie that you'd watch with the parents... unless... you are into that sorta thing. :::Shudders:::

I have watched 4 movies so far this weekend: 40 Days and 40 Nights was terrible... mostly boy humor. Panic Room wasn't all that great, kinda lame. My friend Carla and I realized that we have had a little too much AP English last year when we started analyzing the movie, and trying to pick out all of the ironies, symbols, and all of those good ole elements of figurative language. We are big nerds. Umm... Amelie, like I said in the previous post, was wonderful. And Kids was depessing but pretty good. I still really want the Monster's Inc. DVD... and I'm waiting for Lion King to release theirs. ^_^

Radiohead - Exit Music is a good song. As is Paranoid Android.

I actually have church bright and early tomorrow morning... So I guess that means I should be going off to bed soon... So, until next time... "STAY OFF THE MOLDY CHEESE!!!"

Friday, September 20, 2002

Fun on a Friday night...

Seeing stuff like this makes me oh-so-proud to be an American.

Oh, and you can't call it a night unless you have an interesting animation of Sam's kitty...

You see, people in third world countries or perilous countries such as Isreal, are suffering every single day. People have no food, no shelter, no familes. And us lazy Americans have the time and the luxury to make such immature yet amusing little animations on their computers. Sad, isn't it?

Cutest thing I've heard in a long time: My friend Gaby's dog, Freckles, really likes to watch animal movies. We were watching Ace Ventura: Pet Detective on Gaby's fancy flat screen TV, and there was a scene with a small puppy in it. Freckles walks right in front of the TV, barks once, and plops down right in front of it. She watched for about 5 more minutes after the puppy scene before barking again and waddling off. Gaby tells me that Freckles' favorite movie is Homeward Bound.

Oh, and Amelie is a great and beautiful movie. I want to look like the main actress. Anyway, watch it sometime.

I actually remembered on time! The Friday Five, baby, yeah!

1. Would you say that you're good at keeping in touch with people? For the most part, yes. But it has to be a two-way thing. If the other person stops keeping in touch, then I tend to also.

2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why? Depends on the person... Sometimes, it's easier and more comfortable talking to someone on the phone. But there are some people that aren't phone people, and I'd rather talk to them online. I like talking to people in person for the most part as long as it's not awkward.

3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it? Why, yes, I do. And as many of you would know, I am signed on to AOL *all the time*. I also have AIM, which rocks my socks because AOL is an atrocity..

4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away? Both...

5. Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"? Mmm... I don't know. Depends on the person I guess... I tend to have the "distance makes the heart grow fonder" state of mind... but don't really know anymore.

So I guess that's about it for today... It was fun last night at friend's house, even though we were all really tired. My favorite part though? It's still Friday. =)

"I wish I could swim in an ocean of boobies." - Molly, after watching 40 Days and 40 Nights (which, by the way, was a horrible movie).

Wednesday, September 18, 2002

Yay it's almost Thursday! And it is super special because we have a 3-day weekend, which is something that I really really need. It's been a tiring week and I plan on sleeping in everday for all three days. So if anyone calls me before noon and wakes me up, I will unleash all hell.

Just a forewarning: I probably won't be posting tomorrow, I'm going to be spending the night at a friends house. Now that I think about it, I have not done that in a really long time... Hrm... So anyway, hope you all have a dandy Thursday. *Muah*

Tuesday, September 17, 2002

Just so everyone knows... I really want the Monsters Inc. DVD. Spoil me? ^_~

I watched Push, Nevada tonight with my mom. It seems pretty interesting, and I liked the first episode. They play good music. Plus, Ben Affleck is the producer/writer/creator of the show, so it's gotta be good, right?

Monday, September 16, 2002

I think that those horrible bubbles that you have to fill in for ACT registration is part of God's evil plan to destroy our hand usage. Anyway, I am tired. I think I need to go to sleep soon but I still have to study~ Oh, but my bed... it looks so comfy and... inviting.... *Slowly being drawn in to the bedarific goodness...*

Three good songs:

Michelle Branch - Goodbye to You
Etta James - At Last
Our Lady Peace - Right Behind You

Sunday, September 15, 2002

Oh my dear God I need a back massage *so* badly. I'll pay you. My sitting position is definitely gonna cause major back problems in the not so distant future. But, if anyone is willing to take up the offer on the massage, call me.

From a friend's away message:

"The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense."

Now, ain't that the truth...

Saturday, September 14, 2002

Wow... This is really disturbing. Oh, and did I mention it's absolutely disgusting?

Once again, a late Friday Five...

1. What was/is your favorite subject in school? Why? English has always been a class that I really enjoyed... Which is funny considering the fact that I am *horrible* at writing essays, or... well... writing in general.

2. Who was your favorite teacher? Why? I have a lot of teachers that I really liked, Mrs. Kaplan and Ms. T from 5th and 6th grades, Dr. Hopple and Mrs. Croker from 9th, Mrs. Ripski from 10th, and Ms. Bradshaw from 11th. Overall, I think Bradshaw was my favorite teacher because I learned so much from her last year. Plus, I had her for 3 periods out of 6 every single day.

3. What is your favorite memory of school? Hrm. But there are just *so* many! *Cough* I loved 8th grade, even though I was still at an all-girl school. I'm not really sure why... I think that year the entire grade sorta bonded, and I became friends with almost everyone, and it was a nice feeling. Freshman year, people started going off into their own little groups again, which that was not great. People just starting getting "too cool" for the rest of us. Maybe that's why I left. Junior year was fun too, minus the endless all-nighters and the constant school-work. And... well, this year is not bad so far. Maybe this will be my favorite memory of school.

4. What was your favorite recess game? Chasing boys around the playground (what? That was in like, 2nd grade, I promise!), Prison Ball, Dodge Ball, Line Tag, Gotcha, hockey, Crab-soccer... I love recess. We should have that again. No, we need Nap Time. Lots and lots of nap time.

5. What did you hate most about school? Sometimes the people, sometimes the teachers, a lot of the times the administrators, most the time the schoolwork. And of course I would complain about that cause that's pretty much the only thing that makes school suck. Then again, I hardly ever do work, and if I do I would wait until the last possible minute to start (i.e. starting a 5 page paper at 12 and working on it until 6 Friday morning).

I did absolutely nothing today. I watched about 7 hours straight of the Real World Chicago. And I ate. A lot. Fathead (aka Heather) came over at 9 and we worked on an English assignment that took way longer than necessary. We pretty much just acted silly like we always tend to do. She is fun to be stupid with. I'm still not done with the assignment though. But keep in mind, I am *queen* of procrastination. And you know what? I am gonna get a better grade than you. Biotch!

Then again, probably not because I suck.
