I had almost forgotten what pain like this feels like.

I had almost forgotten what it's like to let go of the person I thought I was going to be with forever.

I had almost forgotten how much it hurts.

Almost.

Wow. What an interesting few days/nights it's been.

Wow.

  • To Phuong - I hope everything is okay and that you didn't mean some of the things you said last night. I know that things are never gonna be the same so that means we just have to make the best out of what we've got. You and I need to kick each other's asses back into shape, okay? Know that I'm always here for you no matter what.
  • To Shrekanie - I know that things haven't been easy for you and that things aren't going as smoothly as you would like. I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm gonna miss you and your weirdness after tomorrow. You're gonna come visit me in Nashvegas, right? Okay cool. Just remember: I'm only a phone call away, so never hesitate to call.
  • To Julie - I hope you're okay after whatever happened last night. You've only been gone for less than a day and I already miss you! Whatthefuckisthis?? I hope you have fun this summer in Austin... Don't forget to go to class! Can't wait to see you... in your new(?) apartment in August!
  • To Vivian - YOU LEFT AND I DIDN'T GET TO GIVE YOUR GIFT-THINGIE! (You know, the poop nuggets I left in the middle of your room?) Hurry back to Austin so I get to give it to you and see you once more before I leave! Bring Chloe while you're at it! Have fun in Austin over the summer and make sure you keep me posted on everything.
  • To Terence - Thanks for letting me use your for the boat today. And thanks for... everything you did... afterwards. Yeah.
  • To Lee-Ting - Oh wow, so we definitely didn't plan on what happened today. I'm really sorry about it and I hope you get well soon. Gosh, if that doesn't kill whatever desire you had to go on a boat again, then I'm not sure what does. Anyway, heal fast so you can take advantage of that hot tub that Tye is going to buy you.

While we were watching America's Most Wanted on tv today:

"Do you ever wonder if this show is real or not?"

    "Why wouldn't it be?"

"Well, there's no way they can catch all that stuff on camera, so how can it be real??"

    "Umm... those are re-enactments."

Yay for another annoyingly great flash animation. I must say this is the best thing that I've seen since that god-awful Kenya song:

Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring Banana Phone!

    Cellular! Modular! Interactive-odular!

[Thanks for showing this to me, Vivian. Now I just need to figure out how to get it out of my head.]

My roommate for the next week is awesome.

    S e h n E 13: i lovew yhiouy more!
S e h n E 13: tammy cheng. you are awesome and i am going to miss you so much. haha. crazy girl.

S e h n E 13: dont know that i should listen to it on the drive back to dallas though...might make me sad and i might want to turn around and come back!

    Yay!!!
    Happy Birthday, Julie!
One more year until you're 21! But not like it matters anyway.

And just a little advice for you tonight in case you go bar-hopping:
Dchang11: drunk people on fire scare the personnel
    Dchang11: not sure why...

    Monday, May 17, 2004

tingerhopper: haha.. you know, i always thought that line was, "move girl, light your ass on fire"
Auto response from SooshiMooshi: Move girl, like yo ass on fire.
tingerhopper: and i didn't understand it
tingerhopper: but that makes more sense.

In other news, I have a new roommate until I have to move out. Which... is... tomorrow morning at 7. Hurrah!

    [Edit]

So at 5:40 this morning, after a long day night 3 hours of packing, I come to the realization that I didn't have to move out by 7am today, but rather, 7am tomorrow. I'm a complete moron.

    Saturday, May 15, 2004

So tonight, Sarah asks me, "Why do Asians make peace signs in pictures?"

And I didn't know how to answer her because I'm not sure why myself.

    Do you know?

As this school year is coming to an end,

I say goodbye to 5am trips to Kerbey Lane/POHI/Waffle House, bubble tea, theme parties that suck, living... or not really living in a dorm, 8am classes, jello shots/kings/powerhour, numerous nights at the PCL, and new-found friendships.

Stephanie, pick up your phone! Hi. I don't even know where to begin with you. All I can say is thanks for everything. Be it lending a shoulder for me to cry on, or a floor for me to sleep on, or a person to laugh so hard my stomach hurts with, some kleenex so we can make tissue dumplings, you were always there for me. I really will miss you next year, so don't forget about us. I is less than 3 you.Phuong- I'm gonna miss your amazing accent and sweaty feets over the summer. I know I can always count on you whenever I needed to talk about boys and relationships, or when I just needed a 'freak' dance partner. I'm gonna miss you and your big ass this summer. You should still make a road trip to Nashville because I am there. And that's all that should matter, right?Vivian - I can't really say if I'm going to miss you seeing how I'm gonna be rooming with you once summer is over. Hah - jk. I'll still miss you lots. We've come along way since I met you at rush and I'm so glad to have you as my pledge sister. Despite your expensive tastes and obsession with Chloe, I still love you. I'm disppointed you're not going back to Taiwan with me, but I'll bring you back a fake LV! Fire in the sky!Juuuliiieee - I don't know what I would do with myself if it weren't for you this year. Thanks for the numerous nights I spent at your place, providing me with medicine when um... I needed it, offering way too much information about you and boys, giving me directions to EVERYWHERE, and for just being such a great and caring friend. You're 'awesome'.Jateson - We didn't get to hang out as much this semester, but I'm still sad that you're actually leaving. Maybe you can surprise us all again and come back after summer? Anyway, thanks for being such a badass big bro. Good luck with everything. We'll miss you. Visit often.Sarah Smithers! Oh wow, what a year it's been for us. I'm so happy that I had you as a roommate this year. You never fail to crack me up and I always get a kick out of watching your hyper ass. I swear, the only things good that ever came out of Dobie are the morning omelets and you. I'm going to miss always having you around next year, but no worries - I'm gonna be living just down the street! And remember... you've got that bomb ass p...I love you Zetas. Thanks for always being there for me, and I couldn't have asked for better pledge sisters. Eat shit!To Mikeymikey, Jeff-dings, Big Head Park, and Chow - you guys are awesome, and you definitely made fall 2k3 pledging enjoyable. Thanks. These crazy girls make me happy.I sure am gonna miss being at this table. Jessica and Tony - Thanks for putting up with us being over there all the time.Yay for Fall 2k3!Being so far away from home, ASR has pretty much become my second family here. Thank you girls for everything.

And I go back to 2am trips to Waffle House/Steak 'n' Shake, working at GC, Southern hospitality, shopping with the Mom, being the "token" Asian girl, Molly's DVD collection, throwin' up some 'bows, and old friends whom I haven't forgotten.

I'm not sure how I was able to go two whole semesters without seeing any of you girls. It hasn't been easy, I'll tell you that. I can't wait to go back home to Nashville and hang out with you all again.Esther - Wow... It's been awhile. I can't tell you how much I've missed you and your smiling face this year. I'm always thinking of you and hope that you are doing well. I know that you've had your share of problems with guys and whatnot but I'm glad that you were able to pull through. I'm excited about going home and seeing you every Sunday again where we can goof off for hours after church.Molly Molly Molly. I can't wait for this summer where I can go visit you at Sonic all the time and steal tiny popcorn chicken. And I can't wait to go shopping with you and spend tons more money than I own. And I can't wait to make fun of everyone and anyone with you. Thanks for always making me laugh and for always listening to my problems. Just be sure to make some time for me where I won't be the third wheel, okay?Yay for the Asian crew! I've missed going to Sunset Grille with you guys... 50% off after 10! Big Steve - I'm excited about working with you again. You are like a big brother to me and I've missed you lots since I've been here.Emma and Emily - hope you two had fun this past semester. We'll definitely need to go back to Florida where we can drink some Red Passion at Sandalwood.Lindsey - Hope you had fun on your birthday. I'm sad to hear that you won't be in Nashville all summer, because you're off to become a pro soccer player. Good luck with that and we'll miss you much!Mommy! I can't even begin to tell you how much I've missed you since I've been here. All I can say is that we'll need to go on more Mom/Daughter dates as soon as I get home.Ben and Esther - Remember this picture? Where you guys randomly came to visit me at 3 in the morning?? Yeah. You guys should do that again. And maybe we can hit up Chuck E. Cheese while we're at it.Fathead! Wow... I think I've gone a whole year straight without seeing you. I heard that you transferred to WKU (not UTK) this past semester and I hope you liked it. I'm not sure what you're doing this summer (you know, aside from hanging out with your fellow Meathead friend). Hope you are doing great!Aww poor Carla. Why did you ever become my friend? Anyway, I've missed you this semester but I hope you're doing well in KY. How's the whole boy situation? I want to hear all about it when I get back!Gabriella - I can't believe I was so stupid as to not see you when I was in NC! I'm so sorry about that, but I'll be sure to see you next time I go. Promise. Anyway - hope you had fun this year. Oh - I got a The Dog toy the other day and it reminded me of Freckles and her shoes. =)Wow. Some things never change. I miss you, Lizzy - thank you for the message you left me on my birthday. I'd forgotten how great your Southern accent was. I hear that you, Carly, and Heather hang out a lot, and I'm jealous! I want the same luxury when I go home! And Emma - I've missed that face more than you could know.

And to the people who were neither here nor there:

Siv - God, how long have I've know you? It's amazing that we are able to keep being 'us' even after all these years. I'm so glad that we started talking on the phone more. You are hilarious and I love you to death. I don't know how we do it but I always love spending hours on the phone with you talking about anything and everything. Even if 80% of it is spent boy-bashing. Have fun in Europe this summer and I'm excited about visiting you in Cali.I have so much to say to you but I can't even begin to put it all into words. Thanks for visiting me 3 times this year, for always putting a smile upon my face, for dealing with my PMS, and for being my everything. I love you and I'm gonna miss you so much this summer. You'll always be my robot boy.

It's been an amazing year. Thank you all for everything.

    [Edit]

S e h n E 13: you make me smile and cry happy tears at the same time.
    S e h n E 13: damn you.
    SooshiMooshi: haha
    S e h n E 13: shit you made me lose my contact

<<< I added some new people on the side. God, before I know it, this place will be overrun by Xanga.

  • Esther - I've been meaning to add you for the longest time, but here it is. Finally. So are you gonna come visit me at 3 in the morning some more this summer?
  • Joy - My future sexy roommate! I love this girl because she never fails to make me laugh.

    Very. Very. Pink.

    Pink and ugly.

    Kind of like this page.

Today, Stephanie and I went to the Co-op to sell back our text books. I kept my fingers crossed in hopes of getting some cash back since I am in serious need of money. Even twenty dollars would help.

Unfortunately, I did not get twenty dollars back.

    I got $291.25 instead.

    Hello. I'm bling-blingin.

Too bad I can't spend any of this money on things I want.

    We then...
  • Ate at Din-Ho where the waiter asked us, "Is this for dinner or for a snack?" and where Stephanie orderd some "fat" noodles.
  • I got melon seeds, seaweed, and gross lemon tea at the HK market. What is it with me and buying nasty Asian drinks?
  • Went to True Blue and got me a pretty aqua gem that is mother huge.
  • "Got owned" by 6th street.
  • Wondered where the bats go at night.
  • Discovered that Stephanie's passenger seatbelt smells like me.
  • Listened to Boyz II Men while making out in the bushes. I mean... Uh...
  • "What are those blue rectangle things??"
  • Ate some delicious beignets. Although, I'm not sure if what Stephanie ate should be called a beignet with all the powered sugar she put on it.
  • Even though Tabasco sause tastes great with "Asian", there's a reason why beignets aren't listed as one of the things on which you should use Tabasco sauce.

In other news, boredom hits again:
I actually wouldn't mind getting this done for real. You know, if it wasn't so damn permanent.Yeah.

    This is all goodbye.

  • God, I love this picture.
    Happy 19th, Lindsey!
I'm throwin' up some 'bows for you here.

Blogger got a makeover and I absolutely hate it. This almost makes me want to switch to Xanga for awhile in protest. Almost.

Anyway, Ben says that this is a good game. Unfortunately, I have a laptop and do not have a number pad, and therefore cannot play it. But I'll take Ben's word and agree that it's badass. You must get the gold hammer!

As you can tell, I've been absent for the last few days. The boy came to visit me seeing how he was already done with all of his exams.

    What we did...

  • I think I watched more movies in a span of 4 days than I have this entire semester. We watched Triplets of Belleville, Stuck on You, Mean Girls [which was David's idea, not mine! But the movie was really good anyway], The Girl Next Door, Richard Pryor Live on the Sunset Strip and Van Wilder.
  • Using a pink loofah while listening to Jessica Simpson in the shower is fun, isn't it?
  • So. Much. Food.
  • I can beat a boy in Bob-omb!!! Damn, I'm good.
  • Romantic line of the week: "You know, I think my mom has that same shirt."
  • POPO IS NOT A RIP-OFF HAMTARO!
  • I don't know how to drive downtown for the life of me. I hate you 7th street! *Shakes fist*
  • Some people just have perfect timing...
  • Porn shops are funny.

Anyway, I'll spare you all the gruesome details. We had fun. [Thank you for coming to visit me, and I love you.]

In other news, I missed you girls. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I can't see you guys for the rest of summer.

Hope the rest of you had fun at the crazy parties this weekend. Sorry I couldn't be there, but I had other things to do... I mean... Uhh... Gottagobye.

    SooshiMooshi: hi
    SooshiMooshi: how are you?
    S e h n E 13: sure
    S e h n E 13: i mean
    S e h n E 13: okay

    Monday, May 3, 2004

    What a weekend.

  • I went to San Antonio on Friday with Stephanie, Joy, Vivian, and Tam. I got to see the Riverwalk and eat an expensive meal with 9th graders. Much thanks to Grace for taking us around and being our bitch. =)

Stephanie likes to put Cheetos up her nose. And then eat them. Yum!She and I were going to hold hands while going down the Riverwalk as the sun was setting. But alas, we did not. So we had to do it in the mall instead.Heh hehWe're not gay, I promise.I got another soft beanie baby! Meet Cruiser.

  • Lumpy is a huge fatty fat fatty now. He's not much of a "dwarf" hamster anymore.
  • Sarah and I finally had a room 1304 party.

I love my roomie. Sarah - I'm gonna miss your crazy ass next year!

  • The Zetas + Stephanie went to College Station for the Rho Delta Chi formal at A&M. Whoever said that it was a really pretty drive there was obviously on crack, because it was probably one of the most god-awfully drives ever as there was absolutely nothing to see. Well, aside from cows, that is. Everyone knows that cows are pretty. Moo. And cow tipping is not allowed!

These girls make me so happy.Yes. They do.

  • Vivian and I held hands for a long time. And we cuddled while watching Usher. And it was totally cute.
  • But I get to cuddle with someone else for the rest of this week. Hahahabarf.
  • Psycogyrrl: if you get yourself a dick, ill consider you
  • I ate 4 hamburgers in a span of 30 hours. I might just turn into a Lumpy as well.
  • You can get a camel ride in Riverside.
  • I never knew thought that Bush and Blair would admit they had a thing for each other. But my suspicions have been confirmed. [Link via Alkie]
  • Congratulations to all the new ASR officers and chairs for 2004-2005.

Whee!No really, we're not that weird.

  • Sunday, May 2, 2004

My name is Tammy. I like never updating.
I know you all have missed me, and the reason I have been gone is because my left leg has been amputated.
I'll miss Spanky (that's what I called it).
    Help me.
    I have no teefs.

I'll leave you all with one last question.
Why you think you take a ho to a hotel?
